ugh it is i think 4 in the morning and i can't sleep because a) i misguidedly had three cups of tea the first of which was at 5 in the afternoon and the last at 1 in the morning b) i'm still stressing out over accommodation (got 3 rejections on the site i'm using to search for flatshares it feels very much like TOTAL REJECTION) c) apparently they want a dick grayson in the upcoming bat/supes film which WHAT? on the one hand YES on the other hand NOPE YOU LEAVE DICK ALONE DC MOVIEVERSE YOU STAY AWAY FROM HIM YOU HEAR ME I feel so conflicted cause i pretty much broke up with dc foreeever but if there's a nightwing then.. i may not be able to stay away no matter how trainwrecky. I'm resigned to being disappointed no matter who they hypothetically cast because i already got my first pick movie robin AS MOVIE ROBIN so.. i mean.. yeah. In my mind ideally what happens post TDKR is JGL robin finds the batsuit and upon trying it on is like AHHH I AM THE NIGHT?! but immediately post excitement realises yeah no this is way too big on me and makes himself a totally rad new capeless homage-to-the-bat costume and alfreds like so what are you going to name yourself? something less dramatically metaphorical i hope young master and joseph gordon levitt in the performance of his career thinks about it super seriously and goes alfred... i am.. NIGHTWING!! cause i swoosh in and save the day!! but at night!!! isn't that so cool i feel so cool can i paint blue birds on the new batmobile caaan iiii haha i totally did it already alfred!! and he keeps the batsuit waiting for bruce. JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT IS MY DREAM NIGHTWING!! i was thinking about character traits that movie 'robin blake' exhibited and btw the cop thing and more youthful/limber fighting style in comparison to bruce and the MISCHIEVOUS SPARKLE IN HIS EYE TEMPERED BY SRS RAGE CHANNELED PRODUCTIVELY VS DESTRUCTIVELY yeah TDKR robin def is dick grayson robin for sure. which means its totally plausible for my hypothetical sequel to include the scene where this tiny angry brat shows up at wayne manor and is like hey is my dad bruce wayne here? no? oh well he kiiind of slightly murdered my mom when she was pregnant with me so screw that guy. anyways you'll do for the pitch o was gonna give him; i have one talent: violence so i'd like you to hire me for that since you have the job i want and once you get too slow n old i can just murder you for it. and nightwing is like sure! another fighter for the cause man i love justice don't you kid? also while ruminating over robin character types i was wondering what kind of of audience would be like this movie char is the best!! for each robin and Dick: you prob really like loyalty/dedication and a nice butt and twinkly eyes Tim: smart guys are cool hardworking smart guys even coolerr Damien: competence is super attractive also sarcasm Jason: you are probably a psychopath (I still can't decide whether amy would like tim or damien better but I'm leaning towards the lil murder baby)
