my crazy-ass theory from the dark side
Okay, so i’m going to cross over to the dark side for a minute and throw this crazy ass theory out there, which i’m sure you can poke dozens of holes in.
Ok, so let’s go over some stuff we know:
Robert has a surprise for Aaron’s birthday
Aaron feels sidelined b/c Robert seems to be busy on his bday
CaptainSwan (reliable inside source) has stated we will find out the future of Rebecca’s involvement with Robron in the Dec.23rd spoilers (which covers 1st week of January’s episodes).
CaptainSwan has also stated that yes, Robert still has his money.
Spoilers have told us that Aaron’s surprise isn’t a physical thing (such as a car, home, etc.) or wedding/marriage related.

Now, let’s go over some stuff that are just suggestions/possibilities from the fandom:
Rebecca is assisting Robert with Aaron’s birthday surprise (yuck)
Aaron confronts Bex because he thinks she’s still after Robert
SO...based on the above things we know and things some people are thinking about, i’ve had a crazy-ass idea/theory as to what it all means. So, wanna hear it? here is goes.....
THEORY #1: What if Robert decides to buy out Jimmy/Nicola from Home James and put it under Aaron’s name. Considering they are having marital issues and with Jimmy gone, Nicola may need to spend all of her time with her kids since she’ll be on her own for some time. They have whatever is left of the $10k from the Sharma’s, plus whatever Robert will pay, so she’ll be comfortable for a while until whenever. So, considering that Home James has a signed contract with Home Farm for 5 years, Chrissie may be involved because of this and Rob will have to renegotiate some of the terms since he’s buying Jimmy & Nicola out.. Fans may not like it because, although it’s not a bad present, this ties Aaron to the White family to some degree.
THEORY #2: What if Robert buys Cain out of his 1/2 of the garage under Aaron’s name since Cain’s head and heart doesn’t seem to be in anymore? This will be a great business opportunity for the scrap yard and a good investment for Aaron. However, what if Rebecca and her convenient knowledge of cars, manages the garage instead of Chrissie who obviously knows nothing about automobile repair? Of course this places Rebecca in Ross’ orbit, but again “fans may not like it” because, although this is not a bad present, this ties Rebecca to Aaron/Robert still. Granted, Debbie is heading back, but she can resume work as a mechanic under Rebecca’s management which creates an interesting triangle between Bex/Ross/Debbie (soap drama).
Now, the confrontation may occur because Robert is working out the details with Chrissie and/or Rebecca and Aaron’s insecurities rear their ugly head and he thinks Bex is still after Robert or trying to come between them. (or it can be something completely unrelated).
So, there you have it. My theory from the dark side. I say dark side because this theory is pulling Rebecca back into their orbit which i don’t normally like to do, but the thought was in my head rolling around and driving me nuts until i had to just get it out. Technically, neither of these are physical gifts since both are more like assets.
Feel free to poke as many holes in this as you wish. Like I said, it’s a crazy-ass theory from the dark side.
