new coworker asked how many siblings i have and it felt like a QTE
option 1: five siblings (the “main crew” — younger two, alive older sister, older brother, and dead older sister)
option 2: four siblings (“safest” option, does not include my dead sister. this option makes me feel fucking horrible but ive been told it’s the most socially acceptable answer because when answering with option 1 there is almost always the question of what theyre up to, and i always say one of sisters is dead and ruin the vibe)
option 3: eleven siblings (same as option 1 but also includes my older brother’s siblings & my younger siblings half sisters as mine as well)
option 4: thirty one siblings (option 3 but also includes the siblings that ive only met like once or only know of through word of mouth)
option 5: haha, i have a lot (also makes the vibe weird bc why dodge the question ??)
