Luca Haas with rosacea headcanons because I’ve been thinking about it for weeks now

- He knows it’s so bad for his skin but the ice feels so good on his face, especially during flare ups. If he gets knocked down during practice sometimes he’ll just lay there and press his face into the ice.

- Hockey rinks are very dry so that man is constantly putting moisturizer on. He’s got lotion in every bag he owns. 6 different kinds in his locker alone. He has a 18 step skincare routine.

- He can’t go out in the sun for long because it causes painful flare ups. He brings umbrellas to beaches. He’s constantly telling everyone else the importance of sunscreen on travel days. Shane and him inevitably bond over this.

-When he first joins the team, he doesn’t drink a lot because alcohol causes flare ups. Everyone thinks it’s because he’s a lightweight and everyone on the team gives him shit for it. After a while, he’s finally had enough. When the other rookies challenge him to a drinking game, he drinks everyone under the table. Ilya has never been prouder.

- In a similar vein, he doesn’t consume much sugar. He loves sweets but he knows it’s bad for his skin. On a particularly bad day he breaks into tears because Bood brought homemade marshmallows and he knows he can’t have any. The snack table is always mysteriously stocked with sugar free gummy worms after this incident.

- Speaking of crying, by god it hurts to rub your face during flare ups, so he’s grown accustomed to letting the tears fall and doesn’t bother with wiping them away. Unfortunately, it’s incredibly hard to watch. Even more unfortunately, he is a frequent crier. Everyone does everything in their power to not let him cry, even for happy tears. (“HAASY I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU START CRYING WE’RE ALL GOING TO CRY.” “I’m sorry!” “NO DO NOT APOLOGIZE THATS GONNA MAKE IT WORSE!”) This ends up being great to guilt trip opponents with, though.

- Luca can feel his face get hot when he’s embarrassed, which makes his face flush more, which makes him more embarrassed, which makes his face flush more, and it spirals from there.

- Theres a running team bet on who can get him to full face blush the fastest with one word. Ilya has been banned from the game. Dykstra is currently winning with “handcuffs”. They started moving on to gestures but Weibe thought it was hazing and stopped it immediately.

- Since his skin is so fragile it’s way more likely to bleed. He would never tell anyone, but he’s used this to get opponents more penalty minutes during games before.

- Luca has no idea what pomidor means

Personal Ilya Rozanov headcanon is that as soon as they are outed, Ilya pins a tweet to his Twitter account that just says “I am BISEXUAL”

Once him and Shane are married he changes it to “I am BISEXUAL and MARRIED to SHANE HOLLANDER” and it stays there for the rest of his life.

Okay I’m serious can someone please explain everything that has happened to Connor Bedard because I keep seeing posts about how he’s cursed and getting tortured for what feels like weeks now but I never get any context for it.

Why is that guy in the torment nexus??? Is he okay?? I don’t even know him, I’m an avs fan, but I’m worried
