So is there a stigma associated with being a non low blood necropath? Or is it because theyre not low blooded theyre expected to eventually run the Bureau of Retermination and since theyre necropaths that would also mean keeping it honest and holding necropaths accountable (which seems like it would be horrible idea to actually do)?

Skeleton: Oh, absolutely there’s a stigma. Necropath is a LOWBLOOD POWER. There’s something WRONG with a highblood with… lowbloodiness.

Skeleton: Practically speaking, I think highly-placed people might have decided at some point that a more long-lived necropath would have too much time to accumulate power.

About (they flow from form to form), with its specific story theres going to be a lot of telling and not showing. Without massively changing it its unavoidable, so instead of trying to cut it out entirely understand its a limitation of the story you want to tell. To that end Id say either try to optimize the telling you have to do or play it as one its strengths.

A large part of why I am fussing to much about it is because my anxiety gives more weight to negative criticism than to positive. (And my baseline anxiety is currently increased due to Real Life Issues at the moment.) The more nebulous the criticism is (And telling not showing is fairly nebulous and hard to define as a critique) the more likely I am to fuss about it.

Point out typos/slips in tense and I can fix them. Point out things that are not mistakes but stylistic choices and I can argue them, but tell versus show? What the fuck do I even do, since as far as I’ve been aware, it’s been mostly tell, and I fuss.

That’s probably not a thing that’s gonna happen.

She’s a teenaged girl. A teenaged girl in a very difficult role of great responsibility, and occasionally, great embarrassment. (Sex, xeno or not is inherently embarrassing. And gross.) Trying to educate the Outsider and impressing her Authority and the importance of Respect and Reverence on someone who doesn’t respect said authority and is never going to respect said authority, is a little hard for her. Especially when the lack of respect takes the form of tentacle sex hentai witticisms.

There are no plans for pregnancy.

Just came to your blog from reading all of The Aftermath on Ao3 and I have to ask, how much is missing from Ao3? While I dont expect it to be completely up to date the fact that there is atleast two pieces covering "The Spar" (and Ive only found the Rose/Feferi one yet) is very confusing to me since to me it seems that it should have already come up somewhere on Ao3. And I dont have time right now to do a full binge through your archive.

I’m sorry for the confusion! The Spar hasn’t actually happened yet! It’s been completely written, but it isn’t on Ao3 because the chapter containing it hadn’t even been written until a couple of days ago! Thank your for reading, though, and I hope you enjoyed Aftermath! ^_^

In 0k verse, how does Feferi keep her sign, and unique form of dress, hidden as a ghost? Because didnt Vriska say in the GARPing chapter that it takes lots of concentration to change your 'ghost form' from your mental image of yourself to a costume, and is instantly gone when you think of something else? Or is it something you can train yourself to do?

Feferi: RELENTLESS practice and mental discipline!

Feferi: There’s a reason I took longer than Karkat to be able to go out in public.

Feferi: It’s not quite comparable to Vriska’s Mindfang outfit, though -- that’s a lot more detailed. I’m just going for something really basic. I mostly copy Karkat.

Since the end of your fic, Ive been wondering how come the goblins didnt use Feferi as a puppet ruler? A legitimate figurehead that actually believes in the changes theyre doing would do a lot to speeding it up. And if they're concerned about her getting out of hand they can easily control her media appearances (as well as any physical ones if theyre willing to let the leash out that much) from the start.

They’d be more likely to do that if she were older, with any real power structure in place in the Fleet. They figure at this point it doesn’t matter what she thinks – ANYONE could use her as a figurehead or rallying point, and claim that whatever she seems to be saying is fabricated by whoever is holding her, because there’s no history of public statements to extrapolate from. Rather than try to use the limited leverage this would give them, they opted for the demoralizing power of ‘no empress’. They can always bring Feferi out sometime in the future.
