My favorite part of Wake Up Dead Man is when Blanc starts to say he’ll nail the criminal, and then pauses, as though considering that Christians may take offense to the mention of nails, and changes how he words it just to be safe

"Tofu is bland"
Are you just going to hate on a canvas for being blank instead of painting on it
Idk if anyone’s said this but I think it makes sense for Gillions favourite colour to be brown.
Underwater warmer colours get filtered out at shallow depths, meaning that the deeper you are the cooler the colours are. Gillion probably never saw the colours red, orange, yellow or brown until he came to the oversea.
And when you think about it brown is a really abundant colour, it’s the colour of soil of food of trees of hair of skin of eyes, for gills entire life until that point that abundant colour was probably blue or greyish, seeing the world be based around a completely new colour was probably fascinating.
Started Hello from the Hallowoods and kept waiting for the abrupt, atmosphere destroying ad break that every podcast has and it never came
I was baffled enough to listen to the outro and them saying they don’t do ads is such a plus in this show’s favor
She’s so pretty and so funny and so interesting and some of you don’t even care 😤
Anya: hello papa!
Loid: the war
Anya: ok
I am literally always thinking about Ford and how his entire story is about forgiveness and self love and being with people who love him
My favorite quote in all of The Glass Scientists is (and likely will always be) Jasper hitting Jekyll mid-argument with "You said I could be anything I wanted to be! Why can’t you believe that I could be happy?"
Like, oh man, Jekyll believes that his own bleak worldview is universal and realistic. We all feel that way about others; we just need to ignore it. Being happy isn’t an option, so you might as well just accept it. Sure, you can make your own decisions, but you cannot let anyone know who you are, and you have to end up alone.
And Jasper says, no, I can make my own choices. Why do I have to give up what I want? Why do we have to assume our story will end in tragedy? I want to find someone I love and do things that make me happy and why should I be barred from that? Why should anyone?
And maybe I’m overthinking it but life is rough sometimes and Jasper as a beacon of hope is so near and dear to me.
