‘ROE MC's romances with her love interest options are so empty and rushed. And Brother's romance with Elena is just an awkward mess. But let's be honest, I think that's kind of expected to happen considering Nana basically wrote in her will that it was required for them to get married by the end of the summer in order for them to receive their inheritance. Soooo yea, these bitches 100% broke up after the series ended.’

BACKSTORY
Louise lived a comfortable and low-key life with her siblings and cousin Violet. They were a big, loving and happy family, even after her parents’ deaths, whom she looked up in romance matters. She was closest to her brother Alex, and they had a special bond, meanwhile she was a second parent to the twins.
She met her future fiancée Christian when she was in senior year of high school. He was charming, kind, athletic and handsome, and the two instantly hit it off. For five years, he went from that charming man to a man who started to gain bad habits, such as smoking and drinking, being fired from three jobs in one year and who started to be emotionally abusive on Louise. Lou, being still young and naive, put up with him, thinking that she loved him nevertheless, and soon the passion faded. For years, especially Jess, asked her sister to ‘dump his drunk ass’, but Louise never found a good excuse.
Until she caught him in the act with that woman. She was beyond furious. She dumped him then and there and left for the cruise without him, determined to start her new single life.
DURING THE SERIES
When Nana’s wishes were revealed, Louise’s life took yet another turn. How on earth would she find a husband in two bloody months?! It was impossible, right? And what was worse, her ex fianceé was on the cruise, after her inheritance, clearly, since the moron couldn’t make money for himself.
Meeting Dean and Sean was intriguing for her, and enjoyed the company, but that feeling wasn’t there... until she bumped into the handsome and foreign Leo, who struck her and captivated her with his charisma, charm and knowledge. They soon began seeing each other casually, and the fact that Leo joined because of her gave her the butterflies she hadn’t felt since high school.
She kept hanging out with Dean and Sean, and avoiding as much as possible being near her ex, and slowly her feelings for Leo grew stronger, to the point of rarely seeing Dean and Sean.
When the scam marriage happened, Louise thought at least three times to deck Christian in the face, and she knew that Leo did too. And my, he was truly an angel with devilish habits. She could hardly have enough of him, and every day she was more certain that this was true love. Spending time with him was always the highlight of her days and wanted nothing more than to be his wife... but when he revealed he was a prince, Louise was a bit scared; royals hadn’t had the best reputation lately, and the fact that he was a crown prince made her fall off the cloud and re-think her situation. She loved Leo, she did, but life as a royal was hardly Louise’s dream, because let’s be honest, one thing is dreaming about marrying someone like a princess and another thing is being a princess in times of democracy and past the splendour. It sure didn’t help that he was technically betrothed. And by god, was she an entitled brat!
When Leo decided that he’d abdicate, Louise had mixed feelings: she knew he hated that life, and that she had influenced his situation in a way, and asked him a thousand times if he was sure, and he was. During their engagement, Louise tried to appease to the king and queen, especially the queen, and focusing on being a bride worthy of him was what she needed.
After both Christian and Madeleine out of the way, their wedding plans were underway and everyone was excited! She was getting married to someone she truly loved and ensured herself a good life for herself and her family. Meanwhile, her brother found love in his secretary Elena, Nicolette in a rebellious and wild woman named Audrey and Jessica in a famous chef Mira. Everyone was happy and excited for this, and everything went incredibly smoothly.
At last, by the end of summer, Louise and Leo married in a ceremony by the sea, and Louise was truly a fairy bride, and Leo her dashing groom. They had a wonderful honeymoon touring Europe with Leo’s motorcycles and enjoying each other.
The autumn that followed the summer was a special one. She was seeing her family again after their inheritances and everyone seemed happy and loved reigned the family, even after Nana’s passing. During those vacations, Louise found out that she was pregnant. It wasn’t by surprise. They may have talked about children, two being sufficient, Leo joking about having twins so she wouldn’t go through the ordeal twice, and my, what a delightful surprise when she found out that they were twins!
AFTER THE SERIES
Her twins were born the next year, 2018, and it was one of the hottest headlines within the royalists of Europe: the rebel prince Leo had beautiful twins with an equally beautiful American heiress, not to mention the new crown prince Liam, whom she had the delight to meet hours before the birth. He was made the godfather of Amelia, named after Louise’s mother and grandmother, and her brother Alexander was made godfather of Damian, named after Leo’s dear friend who had sadly passed away.
As non-working royals, they found themselves with the freedom Leo always longed for and Louise appeased him to talk to his birth mother, and he finally gave in with the excuse to see the twins. They were offered the title of duke or even earl, but they declined, not wanting the pressure and spotlight for their children, and they also declined any claim to the throne were Liam to pass away childless.
She became pen-pals with Eclipsa Ice and both bonded, though wouldn’t meet until her wedding to Lady Hana Lee, where Leo officiated the wedding per the bride’s request.
When Eclipsa’s daughter was born, their children became good friends and agreed to never ever even think of betrothing them as Regina joked once. She lived a happy, lowkey life out of court intrigues and content with her domestic life.
Summary: What if Liam didn’t accept his rise in station with grace? What if he let his brother’s betrayal take the reins and guide his decision on how to handle the abdicated prince?
Pairing: Leo x Katie
Word Count: 1298
Warnings: Poorly written physical violence (like two punches and a shove)
A/N: The bold sentences are dialogue from The Crown where King Edward VIII is confronted by future King George VI about his abdication. (season 1 episode 10).
“I hereby abdicate the throne.”
Leo’s words weigh down the surrounding atmosphere, enacting a variety of emotions: fear, anxiety, and even relief. It’s no secret that Liam is viewed as the better option for king, many going as far as to saying that it was a total waste that he was born the spare. Being within the line of succession is a burden no one outside of it could understand, no one outside of it could fathom what those expectations did to someone, and unlike his brother, Liam has been able to fulfill his duty.
Liam, although he hated the term, lived up to the expectations of the spare, the second born, embracing all the jobs and tasks that came with it. There’s a whispered rumor at court that many spares covet the heir’s position, that the desire to rule drives many royals to commit regicide to ascend to the throne, but Liam has never wanted his brother’s role. The loud clinking of silverware being slammed down brings Liam back to the present, a cold chill running down his spine as he begins to feel uneasy, the uncertainty of his position leaves him feeling unbalanced.
“Because I love her!” The declaration snaps Liam’s attention up to his brother, Leo’s pushed himself up from his seat, slamming his hands on the table, his face red with anger or maybe adrenaline, probably a mixture of both.
In all his life, Liam has never seen his brother so passionate about anything, Leo has spent most of his life just breezing through the things he couldn’t completely run away from. A split-second passed where Liam wonders what kind of king Leo could be if he had that kind of passion for his role of Crown Prince. Their father quickly motions for the servants to clean up the table, announcing that the dinner is over, glaring at his eldest son before the two head off to Constantine’s office.
Liam is the last to leave the dining room, not really sure where to go, surely his father would need him, but the uneasy feeling is pooling in his legs, making them heavy and harder to walk. The palace suddenly feels a lot bigger than it has before, even bigger than when he was a small child. The staircase seems to have an endless number of stairs, the halls seem large enough to swallow him whole and the portraits, the portraits seem taller and the eyes of those who ruled before suddenly seem to hold more expectations, their glares now weighing him down with a more overwhelming and suffocating burden that they previously didn’t.
**
The last couple of weeks have been intense, but also a blur for Liam, everything he had planned to do suddenly uprooted and that extended to both professional and personal duties. Projects he’s worked on for years instantly taken away, the only reason he’s given is that they are now beneath his station. His days now filled with rapid-fire courses on ‘how to take the throne when your selfish brother abdicates for love’, they include all the things that the spare-in-training courses didn’t teach him. Part of Liam feels like he should’ve seen this coming, after all he’s the only one who truly seemed surprised, but the other part of Liam just wants an aspirin and a nap.
Nothing Constantine said could get through to Leo, get his eldest to change his mind, in fact it seems that every royal objection simply makes the mess that much bigger. Where Liam’s days are filled with learning the ropes, trying to get him caught up to at least the bare minimum he needs before his coronation, Leo spends his time giving the press news for yet another headline. Royal scandal always sells, pictures of Leo and the American Katie litter the newspaper stands and just made a bigger headache for their press secretary.
Liam takes a deep breath before he’s ushered into his brother’s study, a bit surprised to see her since Leo was asked to remain somewhat professional in his last days, clearly, he couldn’t manage to even do that. Katie looks embarrassed, her eyes widening as she tightly wraps her sweater around her, leaving the brothers alone.
“Is she really worth it?” Liam wrings his hands together, trying to calm himself down, he wants to support his brother, but he can’t help feeling betrayed.
“I love her with all my heart.”
“Of course,” he looks up at Leo, meeting his eyes for the first time in weeks, trying to search for a bit of remorse, “but more than your own…country? More than your own brother?”
“Yes.” Leo’s tone is flat, there’s no hesitation in his words, no regret in his eyes.
Of all the Rys men, Liam’s known for being the most composed, most stoic, the one able to refrain from letting personal feelings get in the way of his royal duties, but in this moment, he’s pissed. Furious that his brother takes his duty, his responsibility to the crown like it’s an annoyance, essentially treating their country, their people like nothing more than a fly insistently buzzing in his ear.
He clenches his hands into fists, digging his nails into the upper part of his palm. “If you stand down, I shall want you and that woman gone for good.”
“Pay me to, brother...“ Leo smirks at his brother, tilting the glass in his hand towards Liam, “and I'll be gone forever.”
Liam lets out a breath, the desire to lunge at his brother, to knock him off this pedestal he seems to hold himself on is strong, but instead he storms out of the study, brushing by his advisor, holding his hand up dismissively when they try to tell him about a meeting. The space between brothers was getting bigger, but it wasn’t helping his anger, instead each step just reminded him of how angry he was.
How dare he? How dare he think that he can abandon his country, throw his responsibility onto me and make out like a bandit.
Then he stops, stops walking, stops thinking before turning around, storming right back into the office Leo’s in, fuming at the smug expression on Leo’s face.
“Come to negotiate payment?”
“Something like that.” Liam lets go of all his logic and reason, slamming his fist into the side of Leo’s face, shaking it briefly before punching his brother again.
Leo staggers backwards, Liam not giving him time to compose himself before he shoves his oldest brother to the ground, straddling his torso before he starts hitting both first against his chest, not hard, but enough for the abdicating prince to feel each hit.
Tears fall down Liam’s face that’s now red from anger and probably his elevated blood pressure, repeatedly asking, “what did I ever do to you?” Trying to pour out all of his irritation, all of the betrayal he felt each time his fists pound into his brother’s chest, with every tear that slips down his cheeks.
The guards finally pull the two brothers apart, Katie rushing over to Leo, wailing about the soon to be bruise on his cheek, but all Liam can hear is the beating of his heart in his ears. Liam pushes himself off the ground, wiping off the back of his pants, feeling calm for the first time in weeks. Liam turns to leave the study for a second time, this time for good before he glances over at his brother, who's still sitting on the floor, stunned and disheveled as Katie fusses over him.
“You have 48 hours to vacate Cordonia.”
“Liam…”
Liam puts on his best diplomatic smile, something a bit sinister behind it, “if I see you after the allotted time, I’ll have you arrested for treason.”

Thinking about how some of the worst MCs got some of the prettiest outfits. RoE MC wasn’t bad or anything, just super bland, but honestly she was so gorgeous, and her outfits were just ugh. So beautiful.
Queen B MC is more tolerable if you play the Good Girl route but is still catty and bratty, and her outfits are honestly really cool. The only one I didn’t like was the mint green grandma-esque outfit.
RCD’s MC was...something, alright. She wasn’t catty or entitled (surprisingly), but for a supposed superstar actress she was really bland with not much personality to offer. And, I use this term very sparingly, she was a bit of a Mary Sue. I mean, she became an incredible actress in just days (or was it weeks? I don’t remember honestly.) when in reality it takes most actors and actresses years of work. But damn, her outfits were fire. I didn’t like RCD but damn it, Pixelberry always found a way to get me to buy those outfits because how could I not?
Anyway. I just had to get that off my chest. Tl;dr is that even though some of the MCs suck, their outfits are fire.
Author's note: Original characters are owned by Pixelberry studios and some of the others are creations of the author.

Summary: As they continue to be a family, Leo and Katie talk about how they’re slowly moving on with their lives.
"Look, Daddy! I'm Minnie!" Ava beamed jumping around the room while Emma sat on the chair watching her twin sister.
Leo chuckled at his daughter's enthusiasm. Talking to them through Skype every night before their bedtime became his favorite activity since he and Katie split. Clearly, the trip to France was doing wonders for them. The time away from his family wasn't all bad. He had time to focus on his career and find a house near the beach for them in Cordonia. But it has been almost two weeks and he missed them more than he could've possibly imagined.
"Were you both good to Mommy today?" he asked.
"Yes, Daddy." Emma nodded.
Ava took a seat next to her sister on the bed. "Daddy, come to Disney play with Mickey!"
"I wish I could, honey, but Daddy has to work tomorrow."
The toddlers frowned, tears starting to well up.
"Oh no... I don't want to see my little bees crying." He ran his fingers through his hair, looking for a way to change the subject before he lost it and cried in front of his daughters. "You're having fun at Disneyland, aren't you?"
They nodded.
"Then be good to mommy and enjoy the trip. We'll meet soon, okay?"
Still pouting, Emma nodded while Ava rubbed her eyes, wiping her tears away.
"Aww sweetie..." Katie appeared on the screen and hugged their daughters. "We'll see Daddy soon, okay?" She kissed her the twins' foreheads. "Here's an idea! How about we ask daddy to sing us the three little birds song we like while I tuck you into bed?"
"Daddy, sing to us," Emma asked, smiling softly.
Leo took a deep breath to fight back the tears as he gazed at his sleepy daughters from his laptop screen. "Of course, sweetie." He waited Katie put the girls in one single bed, put the laptop on the nightstand and lie down. He cleared his throat and began to sing to his daughters while Katie hugged them and smiled.
When the twins fell asleep, Katie got out of the bed taking the laptop with her and sat by the table. "Hey, how are you?"
"I'm good, just a bit tired. How's Paris?"
"Amazing as always. Though I have to admit I miss waking up in my own bed."
"I wouldn't expect anything less," he smiled. "How's Dean?"
“What?” Katie’s eyes widened. “I wouldn’t know about that...”
"Really? The cruise he was working on berthed at French sea coast two days ago."
"How do you—"
"He facetimed me when he arrived in Paris. He wanted to set things straight, apologize for lurking around while you and I were married. Don't worry. It was a nice talk. And the girls told me they met mommy's cute friend." Leo smirked.
"Oh…” Katie ‘s cheeks turned pink. “I wasn't expecting to deal with this so soon..." She looked away uneasily.
"Katie, it's okay. He wasn't asking for my approval to be around you and the girls, but we all have a history. I get where he's coming from and like I told both you before if he has the same taste in women I do, he's clearly a nice guy." He winked.
"Ugh..." Katie covered her eyes with one hand and shook her head.
He chuckled.
"You'll always find a way to embarrass me, won't you?"
"Of course I will. We had kids, we are family. I will love you and embarrass you for as long as I live." Leo grinned.
"Jerk..." she mumbled.
He laughed.
"I miss you though." She sighed. "I can't wait to go back, give you a hug, live in a new country, decorate the new house. I even have some ideas for your house."
"You do?"
"Just the girls' room, of course. You probably didn't even think about it, did you?"
"I did..." he rubbed the back of his neck.
"What is it?"
"I didn't say anything."
"Every time you rub your neck like that and look away, you're either up to something or you need to tell me something wrong that you did. Go on. Spit it out."
"Okay..." He scratched the back of his head. “I'm— I'm kinda seeing someone too."
"Kinda?" She cocked an eyebrow.
"Yeah. I mean, I only kissed her once and we facetime sometimes."
"Only once? Really?"
"Hey, I can’t be too straightforward with her, it’ll scare her out.” He narrowed his eyes, but his face slowly softened. "I have to bide my time here. She's... different. And intelligent. And really sweet."
"Uh huh..." She smirked. "What does this new girl you're kinda seeing have to do with your house decoration?"
"She sent me some of her ideas and I liked it. But if you want to change anything on the girls' room, I get it and we'll talk about it. You're the mother and I trust your instincts for what you think it's best for our children."
"Well, I wouldn't mind taking a look at her ideas... Send them to me and we'll figure it out."
"Great. I'll forward the email to you right now." He beamed and fetched his phone from his pocket.
Katie gaped at Leo, analyzing his body language and facial expressions for a moment. "Wow, Leo..."
"What?"
"You're smitte.," Katie grinned.
"I am not." He scoffed.
"Yes, you are. You're practically giddy because I said yes to look into your new girlfriend's ideas."
"First of all, she's not my girlfriend. Secondly, I'm not looking for a relationship right now. And thirdly, she has an eye for these things. She had some great insights for the garden, the living room, the backyard... Even the decorator liked it and Regina's decorator hates everybody. The house will be amazing once everything is finished."
"Mmhmm..." She smirked.
He scowled at her.
"I'm joking.” She held her palms up. “I understand if you're not ready for a commitment right now. I'm just glad it's not Madeleine."
"She's not that bad."
"Said the guy who ditched her after three years of engagement to marry me three months later." Katie gave him a meaningful look.
"I never said she was the one for me." He shrugged.
She giggled. "I couldn't agree more. I don’t know why you’re still friends with her, but steer clear of evil woman."
"Yes, ma'am." He smirked.
"And if I ever get to meet your new girl, I'll give her a fair warning about you."
"Katie... You don't have to make me look good. She already knows I'm irresistibly charming." Leo winked.
She laughed.
"Oh, come on! I was a great life partner and you can't deny it."
"Sure..." She nodded, one corner of her mouth lifting up.
"You won't forgive me for the extra large condom/lube gossip any time soon, will you?"
"Considering that you still remain as our old neighborhood #1 crush and my so-called friends keep asking me if I'm okay when they flirt with you on social media and make questions about our sex life?" She faked a smile then glared at him. "I think it's safe to say never."
