2016 Matteo Correggia Roero DOCG
Am I smiling? Am I grimacing? Winter’s here, folks! Red cherries, a hint of maraschino cherries, and nice aromatics of red flowers on the nose. Very red and almost tart cherries on the palate with a hint of cinnamon (probably from the alcohol), minerality, and a hint of mint.

2014 Michele Chiarlo Le Madri Roero Arneis
Holla! Get some Arneis in your face! This one’s pretty simple and straightforward. Apples and florals with a hint of mint on both the nose and palate. Nothing to write home about, but it ain’t half-bad to knock back on a fine day.

2015 Vietti Roero Arneis DOCG
I love me some Vietti juice! A nice bouquet on the nose with lemons, pears, and green apples. Crisp yellow apples on the palate with lemon and fresh minerality. Lovely pear notes on the finish. So crisp!
