Trick or treat?
You get: oh shit it's my homoerotic nemesis standing there cuntily
(send me “trick or treat” and I’ll give you a semi-random screenshot I’ve taken of classic who! it may not be halloween anymore but I certainly won’t stop you)
Hey there! Not sure if this is "news," but I was just binging Netflix's Gold & Greed: The Hunt for Fenn's Treasure and had to pause it because I saw Ryan's name flash across the screen! Well, it's actually his old Twitter account (@ryansbergara) that appears in a tweet asking if he (or Shane, though his name is offscreen) had heard the news when the treasure was found back in 2020.
Anyway, I honestly don't know who would care other than maybe Ryan himself or a tumblr devoted to Watcher, but you can find the moment in Episode 3 from 1:21-1:23 for what it's worth.
Have a good day!
That's pretty cool! Thanks for thinking of us and sending in the ask!
Don't have Netflix to confirm or grab screencaps, but I'm sure you're right. Posting this for any followers who want to check it out.
Also a reminder that the boys did cover the Forrest Fenn episode on Watcher Weekly #025 if you want to (re)watch that!
3 of 4: Inking mostly (tediously!) done. While my all-time favourite Master remains #anthonyainley, I really do enjoy all of them. Eric Roberts was a perfect balance to McGann, and dear lord who doesn't love Michelle Gomez? But sometimes one must simply to go back to the beginning...
Top 5 Dylan songs of the '80s
most of the time (honestly all of oh mercy that album is so fucking good dude)
tight connection to my heart (I would die for empire burlesque fellas it’s so damn good what a king)
had a dream about you baby (blues dylan is just *chefs kiss*)
dark eyes (y’all know I cry)
don’t fall apart on me tonight (hnngnh I love He, the lyrics hit so close to home)
gotta do an honorable mention too;
shot of love (we don’t talk about his christian phase but I’ll be damned, pun not intented, if this isn’t a fucking banger)
Can you possibly explain those photos with Katy Manning?
WOULD YOU TURN DOWN A NUDE PHOTOSHOOT WITH KATY MANNING?

I agree with you. I am not particularly excited by the new Bradley and company audios. Not because Bradley isn't fantastic, because he is, but because I think Bradley's interpretation of the First Doctor is more visual than audible. William Russell and Peter Purves both have fantastic First Doctor impressions and, for my money, Russell had the best Companion Chronicles of the entire run.
Yes exactly, agree with you. It’s been made a big deal on how Bradley looks like Hartnell and how visual his performance is. How will that translate to audio? And we love the other AISAT cast too but they were playing the actors, how will they be at the actual characters themselves? We’ve seen criticisms of William and Peter not sounding like Hartnell but how does Bradley sound like Hartnell? We don’t think the voices have to be replicas but if that’s true then why would we need anyone else doing it when Russell and Peter are so amazing at capturing the essence and spirit of the man they both worked with? (And they love doing it, Peter talks all the time about enjoying it so much) And yes, the companion chronicles for Russ are amazing and the Early Adventures so good. They could always try a First Doctor era spin-off idea. We’d prefer that.
Think what’s upset us most is we’ve seen comments already saying things like ‘wow finally First Doctor audios’ when they’ve been doing them like ten years. There’s already more interest now than we’ve ever seen for any release for the original actors and it makes us feel they’re being ignored. In our minds Hartnell doesn’t need another recasting. It’s getting too much.
