#rogersoutage #rogersoutrage Despite the inflicted injuries Rogers still making hand over fist profits for over priced services. It’s a head scratcher that they can’t provide service on the subway… whilst other lesser known or greedy companies can. You also have to wonder how they calculated how much 5 days of service costs? A little transparency would be useful.🤔 (at Saint James Town) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cglbt7iOGLq/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Don't Panic; The World Is Ending But Just A Little
One thing I'm reminded of after last night's national Rogers network outages: the more technologically advanced we become, the more helpless we allow ourselves to be. Fifteen or twenty years ago, if you called someone, you called them at their house and just kinda hoped they were there. Some didn't even have voice mail or call waiting and wouldn't even know you had ever called. And that was it. You wanted to go somewhere? You brought a paper map and if you had to stop and unfold it twelve times, you got to look like a tourist. You had to be at least a little bit resourceful. Now, it is far too easy for a person to survive in this world with barely any real life skills. A lot of people have become so accustomed to having their tech do their thinking for them that they don't even try anymore. A few hours of not being able to make calls or send texts should be a minor nuisance; it shouldn't feel like the prelude to Armageddon. Also, I feel old.
