I’ve read that too. Luckily @wordswoodsandwater had given some good advice about a certain style of mens Levi’s jeans so I got a pair of those (fits below the waist so looser, and I can choose a shorter length so my pants aren’t constantly dragging on the ground... also pockets)

In theory I suppose, but I can’t find them and 99% of the womens pants I see in stores are ‘jeggings’ or ‘curvy slim fit’ or ‘extremely freakishly tapered’ because who needs to be comfortable when wearing pants?

to be fair I hate shopping so maybe I don’t know where to go

also tfw you can’t wear mens sized shoes but womens shoes are only allowed to be purple, pink, and OBNOXIOUS NEON COLORS women can’t possibly just like normal colors that match their clothes, we all wear fucking neon orange apparently???

oh man, i love that part cause leliana is actually on the field with you (for once?!!). you have done a good thing here ( ˊᵕˋ )♡ i always thought bioware just sucked at engineering a good route to have the player help leliana through her crisis of faith? i have a hard time believing this super smart woman is /that/ impressionable. more like if she remains in crisis too long and is too isolated, she’s a goner, poor baby :(

I’m not really finding the results unbelievable, since she has been through A LOT OF SHIT.  It’s the mechanic of making Inky personally “responsible” that’s weird.   it just... feels awkward since you don’t even get that many opportunities in the game to build a believable relationship with her (unfortunately; why can’t I flirt with her???)

  I imagine my Inquisitor being like “whoa whoa, I didn’t even want to be here with this shit on my hand, you guys dragged me here, why are you yelling at me about your personal issues now”  I wish Inky could have directly supported her more if she was really gonna be that big of an influence. Other than that though I think she could go either way depending on her environment, for sure.

I got this idea that Sera convinces Leliana to get a drink in the tavern with some people, and she gets a bit tipsy and starts telling her super romantic tales again and everyone gathers around and Cass pretends she’s not totally entranced by THE ROMANCE and warm fuzzy feelings for all

...and this is why they needed Sera/Leliana interaction, Josie is too busy to do that shit probably

 it’s a weird show with a very nonlinear approach so I get people not being into it, but around here the rhetoric went beyond “I don’t care for this show” into “if you like this show you are an objectively terrible and malicious person” territory which.... grow up?   That was some shit, lol.  Those fools were blocked.

And to be fair some of the imagery and themes kinda require you to be familiar with old school and regressive yuri tropes like Class S and ‘predatory lesbians’ so I can see why it would fly over a lot of peoples’ heads that they were using that to make a point (the show was about DESTROYING restrictive roles/tropes that society/yuri forces lesbians/lesbian characters to fit into,)

Maybe it’s a misperception but I do feel like fandoms in general get WAY more nitpicky about f/f ships than other orientations.  I’ve never seen a fandom where, for example, a 10 year age difference btw adults, a conflicting canon ship, or someone’s canon/presumed sexual orientation stopped anyone from shipping 2 dudes together.  Hell not even literal abuse stops people from shipping m/f or m/m (see DAI fandom for details... LMAO), but if it’s 2 women and there is even the slightest perceived problem (like one character having a personality flaw or getting angry sometimes..?) people scream bloody murder about it around here.

I’ve read 1 fic where age difference was played up to a point that I felt it was... uh, manipulative and uncomfortable for me on Sera’s behalf, but I think that was due to how they wrote Leliana... maybe also people just really oversell the idea that Sera is a teenager to the point that it is weird because she is literally a character your protag can have sex with in the game no matter how old you decide to make them, and just........????ew?? 

I don’t even think Sera LOOKS younger than 24 or so at the far end but maybe I’m shit at judging ages lol.  it’s a game about fantasy elves anyway so I honestly just don’t care all that much as long as they are adults of a consenting age making their own decisions

Sera/Lavellan Inky is my OTP because I think it’s an interesting journey.  But variety is the spice of life after all.   I just had to get interested in the unpopular ships...
