Day three of Rogue Gambit Week! ( @roguegambitweek ) Today's prompt is “I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. By your side.” (Mr. & Mrs. X, Vol. 1, issue 11). I thought about using the comic panel where Rogue says this to Gambit (both tied up) but I was really itching for something more action orientated. So instead I referenced a panel a little later on where they are fighting together. I also wanted to include more of the quote so it's a bit of a long one.

I was so excited to try and do a green/pink color scheme with this one too!! We went through some ugly stages but I'm really happy with the final result!

For those interested, this print is also in my Kofi shop! (You can technically order any of the 7 days but you won't know what they look like until the day I post so maybe hold off. Or don't. Maybe you like living the dangerous life. 😂)

Life continues to hand me a ridiculous series of circumstances that make writing difficult, but thanks to @roguegambitweek I actually managed a little! 7 little Rogue/Gambit ficlets completed in an hour or less* featuring teenaged alternate meetings, roof tops, a vengeful mermaid, a shout out to The Queen's Thief series (well, two), and surprisingly unangsty Deathbit. Day two of Rogue Gambit Week! ( @roguegambitweek ) Today's prompt is, “When’s the honeymoon, Ms. LeBeau?” (XtAS, 5.8 - Hidden Agendas). The original scene/interaction is really funny/cute, but I didn't want to draw the actual scene from the show. Ludi ( @ludi-ling ) had the fantastic idea of drawing something from their honeymoon (Mr and Mrs X) instead. So here we are!

As before the print is avalible on my Kofi shop (along with the rest of the week)! Prints probably won't ship until July though (Baby girl will be here in two days and Im in "get everything done ASAP panic mode").

Day six of Rogue Gambit week ( @roguegambitweek ) and today's prompt is: “Never use last with us.” (Rogue and Gambit #4).

This was one of the first drawings I did after my first stained glass drawing (I did all the drawings about a month ahead of Romy week). I originally planned to do 1-3 drawings but once I got started I couldn't stop and felt like I needed to do the whole collection. It was a good challenge. Some prompts came more easily to me than others but figuring out the concept and colors (trying to make them all different) was so much fun.

Rogue and Gambit week really is something I look forward to every year. The addition of Romy Con is fun too. This year I haven't been able to participate and interact as much (busy soaking up those newborn snuggles), but I still had such a blast and am looking forward to 2027!!
