No I Can Feel You update today, unfortunately.

I've been doing very close rewatches of each X-Men ’97 episode as I write this fic, and repeatedly rewatching Episode 5/Remember It has been much more of an emotional roller coaster than expected. So, self-care is being encouraged (forced upon me).

Hopefully I’m not jinxing myself, but I am aiming to post Chapters 7 and 8 tomorrow.

asexual representation if you think about it

I’m a big fan of the xmen and I don’t know if this has been said before but Rogue and Gambit are to me an asexual person in a relationship kinda. Rogue representing the asexual person and Gambit just being down bad and happy to be there since Rogue (for a long time) couldn’t touch people whether she wanted to or not. Now the comics change that all the time but for the tv show at least, this is still true and it was a big theme in season one between them (I’m ignoring magneto). So it makes me feel a little better about myself I guess. I am a bit more hopeful. Happy pride month everyone :)

*** We’re getting close to some big angsty moments - updates will likely come a couple of chapters at a time for parts of Episode 5 “Remember It” so that there isn’t a painful cliffhanger. That may make them a bit slower, but hopefully not too much.
