Friday’s Motor City Comic Con “Jokes For Folks” with The Rogue’s Gallery!
To say that The Rogue's Gallery had our best year at Comic-Con ever would be a significant understatement. With the help of the best villains and henchwenches we've been able to have, we not only recruited dozens of would-be evil-doers to our cause, but we finally captured tons of footage to help share our loathsome and vile tendencies with the people who have never seen us at a convention. I've spent the entire night working on video editing, and a comic con specific web-comic will be coming tomorrow. I just wanted to take a moment to thank our partners in crime Terry 'Branch Manager' Finkhouse and the newest vixen in a long line-up to fill the sexy leather boots of our dual-serving hench-wench, Chroma (@chaogasm ); as well as the photographers of the peccant, @digitalracket, Sergio, and @migeekscene for always having their camera ready to catch us in the act, and to the @theatre.bizarre family for partying the night away with us after a weekend of calamity and chaos. But most importantly, I want to thank EVERY single person we had the pleasure of seeing again, all the internet friends we hadn't met until this weekend, and all the new recruits to the war against heroism! Here’s a three-way collaboration between us and two individuals who we are proud to call both of those things. @clobeast, whom you may remember as the pen and ink behind the wretched Fuck-Pillow, is one of the best artists I have ever seen (along with one of the best friends a villain could ask for), and @samurai-ko , who is as talented in writing as she is genuine of heart. Michelle contacted Tara, and commissioned some artwork of Freak & Fuge alongside some of her own original characters (who you will see appear in proper Rogue’s work very soon). It sincerely stokes the fires of my dark and twisted heart to see awesome people come together, supporting each-other, creating something incredible, and helping us establish a community of artists of all types under one secret hideout. I love you cats.
