Some happy Rohan Kishibe Headcannons
I heard @rohanappreciation wanted some happy rohan hcs, I am very happy to deliver
- Rohan will sometimes pack his bag with a small lunch, some sketchbooks and a camera and go where the road takes him. He finds that it brings up new places that he can draw or take pictures of for reference, and sometimes he manages to find a place where he can sit and draw or paint out the landscape. He sometimes will gift these pictures to his friends in Morioh.
- There are several times where he’s taken Koichi out clothes shopping in an attempt to get matching outfits for the two. This has varying success depending on how silly the outfits are and Koichi’s patience. Rohan finds the outfits amusing and a funny way to consolidate the friendship of the pair, though he doesn’t admit that fact, instead calling it research for his manga. They have at least 5 different sets of matching clothes now.
- One time, after a lot of convincing from Koichi, he allowed Josuke and Okuyasu to style his hair into a pompadour. It looked completely ridiculous of course, and the others agreed with this fact. That didn’t stop Rohan from buying a large amount of hair products to try and replicate the look when the others had gone home. He thought he looked quite dashing with the hairstyle.
- While he doesn’t need them, with him being one of the best mangakas ever, he has a variety of wooden pose dolls that he keeps on his windowsill in his study, that are in various action poses. Any time that Josuke and Okuyasu come over, they will change all of the poses to dabbing when they think Rohan isn’t looking. Rohan has yet to figure it out, and while he thinks it’s kind of funny, he still gets annoyed that someone is touching his stuff.
- He takes in inspiration from many things in Morioh, so if he’s met someone he finds interesting, it’s very likely that they’ll feature in his manga in some way. If he features someone he knows quite well, he will actually sign a copy of the volume that they are in and will give it to them, along with a signed picture of him looking smug. Almost everyone who has featured has gotten the signed book, other than Josuke, who while he has a character in Rohan’s manga, was left out by Rohan out of spite for ruining his study and being the reason his house was on fire. Josuke is very annoyed by this fact, considering that signed copies of Pink Dark Boy go for about 14000 yen (around £100) online.
