i actually JUST saw someone tell minors not to ‘ship’ themselves with somewhat older characters on the basis of them being older

in particular, julian... devorak??? from the arcana? and their reasoning was ‘the character wouldn’t want that’? girl minors can ship themselves with literally whoever older than them, it’s adults who shouldn’t be shipping minor ocs and stuff with older characters

pedophilia: adults taking/creating minor OCs and shipping them with adult characters that do not follow a strictly ‘romeo and juliet’ age gap at MOST (were dating as minors, then one turned 18 before the other)

NOT pedophilia: minors taking a character in a ROMANCE GAME that is pg-13 and shipping themselves with the LOVE INTERESTS because they are having FUN as fans of a ROMANCE GAME where the point is that it is a SELF INSERT name and pronoun system ???

i’m going into psychology as my major, right... but also like. okay.

i wanna do farm therapy. i want a nice, large house with lots of guest rooms, and people can come and stay for x months, away from the worries of their life while also being treated in therapy for mental illness, part of that therapy being the slow, easygoing days and no one pressuring you to do anything. i’ll make everyone breakfast in the morning, tend to the animals and garden, invite those i’m treating out to help me if they want. and if they don’t that’s okay. i want it to be as affordable as possible too. i want to take care of sick people on my goddamn farm so i can do something good in this world while also treating myself. it wouldn’t be a ‘no technology!!’ place either, and engagement would be highly encouraged but not pressured or required. only healing.

it’s so important to step back from the giant spinning cog machine that is the economy, step back and realize you own the dirt of the earth just as much as any billionaire.
