Self-explaining to a fault.

I still cannot wrap my mind around how the Devs overlooked the fact that there are snipers guarding the Dam pass. I know Fortification Hill wasn’t supposed to be reachable through regular means (swimming and climbing via jumping)... but this is just plain ridiculous.

If you are like me, and you’re tired of seeing the same -sson last names that seem forever glued to Swedish characters -- or if you’re just a person wishing to play a person with Swedish roots -- then look no further! I, a Swedish woman, believes in breaking of patterns and as happy I am to see more people take on Swedish characters I just wish people would care more about their names.

Although the -sson part is rooted to our pasts we are, oddly enough, not still in Medieval times and our last names have developed into a whole new section of options as cultures mix and match! I do not know all of them and this list will be a constant on-going update as people will be able to submit their’s, as well as me doing some research and maybe hearing some new ones out on the streets of where I live. I’d gladly help with any type of Swedish research and questions you may have, or at least as far my own knowledge reaches so don’t be afraid to come to me with your concerns!

The list is A-Ö, and some last names will feel repeated as we mix and match words and meanings. There will be some -sson names to be found, but underused or forgotten only. Also don’t worry about ÅÄÖ, we get it!

i plan on iconning the rest of the cast of the movies shouting secrets, wind river, and rhymes for young ghouls but i have other iconning projects as i am an active roleplayer and a decent amount of my faceclaims do not have any pre-existing icons

i hope to also revamp the theme to make a better navigation.

A GUIDE TO PHLEBOTOMY, THE ART OF DRAWING BLOOD.

Click the pictures to zoom in and read the information! This is written by moi, untothisstorm, who has completed phlebotomy training. If you have a question then you can google it or come to me and I’ll pull out my textbook. And oops, I forgot to add in on “the process”, #2 should also include “tie the tourniquet”. Nowadays, all tubes are usually vacutainers and they have air vacuums that will suck in a predetermined amount of blood. Since syringes are not tubes, you actually have to transfer the blood from the syringe into a tube using a transfer device.

While this stuff applies to most places, all hospitals/labs/sites are DIFFERENT. Different places have different rules and expectations. Some places are really lazy and lax about their rules, some places are super super strict. Also, people that draw blood sometimes do things out of order or do things differently.

Please note that certain OSHA acts were put into place in 1992 and 2001 so if you are writing something before that, make sure you do you research. I was trying to find out when reusing needles and syringes was outlawed but I couldn’t find anything, I believe it was in 1992. Anyway, if you’re writing something historical, make sure you do your research because this powerpoint applies to modern day 2016.
