In most of these cases, especially at the top of the list, these players only rolled once (Marisha, Sam, E3 Luis) or twice (Liam, Matthew) in that episode. This is as a) dice rolls are random and b) the players are given more opportunities to roll with advantage than disadvantage, the more times you roll in an episode the more likely you are to have a score of just over 0. This also explains the top 2 scores as Taliesin and Whitney only rolled twice/ once respectively in those specific episodes

Nerdy Notes:

Laura's score this episode should absolutely be lower than I've put - there were a couple of times during that combat where she didn't say what she rolled, and just said "it's so bad!" or something like that. In those cases I followed my own rules and put those down as the exact average rolls, but there's like a 99% chance that she rolled lower than that

On the other hand, there were quite a lot of rolls where people said exactly what they were adding, so I've learned quite a lot more proficiencies: Teor in insight, Julien in perception and Tyranny in deception and persuasion. Thimble also has expertise in acrobatics

Julien also probably has proficiency in athletics - he got a 22 on a check but didn't say "nat 20" so is presumably adding more than his standard +2 to strength checks

I got Wulfrics stats from the wiki, but I admit I have no idea where they got them from. I don't really know how animal companions work tho so I'll trust the wiki for now haha
