25. “This is why you don’t ever have any shirts to wear.””
Thanks for the prompt! Yours ended up being much longer than I anticipated so I am sorry for the wait. I have posted it here.
After the mission, Fareeha's arm is broken in two places, sitting in a sling, and the woman still looks like its occurrence is only an annoyance to her day. Angela, by contrast, is a conflagrant wreck simmering beneath a cheap facade of medical professionalism.

My internet is crappy and I only saw your tags. For the longest time (more like hours - the picture just managed to finish loading), I thought you were referring to Glee, haha. Anyway, UnReal looks cool, and because of how long it took for the picture to load, I'm feeling invested now. Will check it out. Congrats on the tweet. :)
I will never forgive them for naming them Quinn and Rachel, the confusion is ridiculous lol. (They couldn’t even spell them differently?) Ooh, yes, do! Heads up that it is a very heavy series (LOTS of dark subjects) so if you want more information before you dive in feel free to message me. But I highly recommend it if you’re interested in complex female characters and Bad life choices and feminism and exploration of ethics and consequences and twisted relationships. Thank you! :)
Hi Nico, sending lots of good vibes and love to you (and your housemates). Truly appreciate your understanding and contributions to fandom, and particularly for lending your voice even when you're dealing with so much in your personal life. I'm sure your friends and housemates have got you covered, but if you ever need another friendly ear, mine's here (and not in the Robin Hood: Men in Tights plucking off their ears and throwing them at Cary Elwes way). Hope you feel better soon. Much love.
This is a bit of a continuation to A Hopeless Place. Just another '10 sentences', because rollingwave needed a pick-me-up. Dunno if this will help at all, but I promised I'd try!
Aurora is… not what Mulan expected in many ways.
She is sweet and kind and generous, but almost overly so. And then sometimes—sometimes like when Mulan and Philip are discussing the case or when they ask Aurora about the events leading up to her coma—her eyes will flash in the same way they had in the hospital; dark and passionate and full of something Mulan is almost wary of. There are other times too—times when she is alone with the woman, for one reason or another—Aurora will fall uncharacteristically silent and study Mulan with an intensity that Mulan is quite sure Philip doesn’t even realize his princess possesses.
It makes Mulan… not nervous, exactly, but hyper-aware or maybe self-conscious in a way she’s never been before. And she loses the ability (her trademark ability) to remain detached (dispassionate, removed). If she could only figure out why she would feel a whole lot better about it all.
“Another failed bust?”
“What makes you say that?”
Aurora gestures towards Mulan’s hand. “The twirling. You only do it when you’re aggravated.”
The pen, which had previously been spinning through Mulan’s fingers unconsciously, slips out of her hold and drops onto the table. It’s almost jarring, the noise it makes as it clatters against the wood.
“You’re observant.” It comes out as an accusation, almost, but Aurora just shrugs.
“We’ve been spending a lot of time together the past few months. I’m bound to pick a few things up.” Aurora glances towards the stairs where Philip had vanished to take a call. “I don’t think he much likes talking about it with me—my case, I mean.”
“He doesn’t much like talking about it at all,” Mulan says, but then snaps her mouth shut, because that’s probably not the sort of thing she’s supposed to be sharing with her partner’s fiancée. But she doesn’t exactly have a lot of practice with this sort of thing.
Aurora just hums noncommittally, though, and Mulan’s shoulders relax.
“He’s frustrated, just like you are. These guys you’re after—they can’t be smarter than you. So what’s the problem?”
“They’re well informed.”
“A mole at the precinct?”
“That’s what Philip thinks.”
“And what do you think, Mulan?”
The way Aurora says her name always gives her pause; it’s an odd mix of formal and familiar, and Mulan spends half the time thinking there’s something behind it and the other half chastising herself for thinking it about it as much as she does. But then, that sort of applies to Aurora in general.
“I think they have an informant somewhere.”
Aurora’s eyes flash again (dark, passionate, and that other… thing, the one Mulan can’t define). “You’ll get them.”
Mulan thinks for a moment about replying, but then Philip is striding back into the room and the thought remains unsaid.
The 3 is always performing or taking center stage in some way. The 3s love creativity, communication, and connecting with people. They are often the entertainers of the world. They love being listened to, so you'll often find them on the phone. Writing is also a big deal to the 3, as it's another form of communication. Anything having to do with the written word is appealing to the 3s.
In personal relationships, 3s can also be very romantic. They are fiercely loyal, and they never truly get over their past relationships. Even when the relationship ends, for a 3 it's never quite over.
When the 3s aren't expressing themselves creatively, they will manifest some sort of drama. They sometimes embellish what's going on to make their lives seem more interesting. If they use this tendency in a positive way, channeling it into motivational speaking, singing, or acting, they can keep it healthy.
The 3s needs people. When they go home to check their messages and there are none, they can feel a real sense of rejection. In relationships, 3 don't always see the situation for what it really is until they get burned. Since 3s are natural counselors who see potential in others, they often pick a partner who is a "patient," with the thought that they can save that person. This tendency often leads them into depression. Everything is going great one minute and the next, BOOM! The 3 have to guard against extreme highs and lows. They must learn to control their emotions, and look for middle ground.
A 3 makes an excellent salesperson. If he/she believes in something, by the time he/she is through with you, you'll believe it too.
The 3s make great entertainers, models, actors, designers, musicians, singers, comedians and any type of performer. They also shine in the world of cosmetology, hairdressing, fashion and jewelry design. The reason is simple: The want to world to look better. These people are natural clowns. These are people who wants to enjoy life, and never quite grow up.
The creative 3 doesn't do well with the standard 9 to 5 job, and doesn't like working under others. Their minds move very quickly & when someone is slow thinking, it will frustrate the 3. At the same time, the 3 must guard against becoming to domineering when they are in charge. If they are in a dead-end job or lifestyle, the can get themselves caught in some pretty sticky situations that may be hard to get out of. They have to use their creative gifts. They can seem manic-depressive, experiencing intense mood swings if they're not using their talents.
3s must be careful with whom they spend their time. They are warm and giving by nature and tent to attract world-class takers. If 3s find that they are always the giver in a relationship and there is no reciprocation, it will lead to bitterness. They must learn to walk away from relationship that are unbalanced in this way.
Their strength of mind and sharp with often put them ahead of the crowd. When 3s are living on the positive side, the 3 is clever, entertaining, and makes great company. They are a joy to be around. The 3s are known for their trade mark smile, bright eyes and pleasant-sounding voice. One of the gifts a 3 does possess is to take an adverse condition and flip it around to the benefit of themselves and others. The 3s learn from adversity, intuitively understanding that sometimes you have to go through the negative to get the positive. The 3 uses that fine sense of humor to get through the bad days. Laughter is what saves them.
Note: Amber and Krystal is also the same number as you :D
