This is the story of how I wish 2020 actually went. Although published in 2019 most of the events take place in a fictional 2020. It’s so much better than reality. I was nudged to read this book by a friend. Not really in the mood for romance, I was a bit hesitant. But this story picked me up and whisked me away into a funny, hopeful and oh so romantic tale that I could not put down. I feared it would be royal family fan fiction or political pontification. And yes, there is a backdrop that contains whisps of those. But it is, at its core, a love story. A lovely, beautiful, romantic love story.
