Tour Romaine de Thusuros

This ruin traces back to the Roman era in North Africa , it was a Roman church then Bled El Hadhar mosque was built atop of it after the invasion of arabs and the ruins of this Roman Tower is the only thing left.. Moreover Tozeur’s history dates back to the 3rd millennium BC. The city was a successively Numidian, Christian during the Roman Empire and finally Arab Muslim.

The name of Tozeur in antiquity was Thusuros (Tusuros) it was an important Roman outpost.

First lunch for me in Roma is always my favorite! Focaccia con le patate. Focaccia with potatoes. That’s it! So simple yet SO delicious. Ever since I was a kid this has been my go to pizza al taglio (Pizza by the slice). They had a bonus one with eggplant that I just had to get too 😍 . Never any cheese of these. Most pizze in Rome have no cheese. They are simple and flavorful on their own YUM!
