Han China and The Roman Empire, with the start of the Common Era (CE), made great progress in cross-continental trade between the western and eastern half of Eurasia. Thanks to the Silk Road, the two biggest cultural Empires spread their influence throughout the known world. While it was incredibly difficult for these long-distanced lovers to interact, it shouldn’t be much of an obstacle for their mutual goal to, ultimately, change the world :^)

The reason China leaves his hair long is because Rome always told him that he looked cuter with long hair and precedes to stroke it (much to China's dismay). Perhaps it's a way for China to remember Rome and his soft touch.
