Summary: Spending the morning with Ronnie in his RV. Just the two of you.
Warnings: Fluff, Cuddles, Ronnie's Cuteness, Ron takes his pills, Established Relationship
Opening your eyes, the warmth of the bed hits you; the fluffy blankets wrapped around you felt nothing to a big warm arm snuggled under your chest. Ronnie snored softly in your ear, his breath warmly landing on your face. Looking over his face, it was squished upwards on your chest, his eyelashes beautifully laying on his cheeks.
Looking around the RV, the haze of the morning sun shining into the small windows made you squint, and a yawn grew in your throat, letting you succumb to it seconds later. Ronnie shifted, moving his hand down to your waist. His eyes opened with a hum. "Good morning," you whisper, turning your head toward him. He snuggles you closer, groaning before he kisses your shoulder. In turn, you kiss his forehead as best you can.
You move your hand to run through his long, unwaxed hair; its soft strands welcome your finger with very few tangles, which you avoid. Ronnie didn't go back to sleep as his snores weren’t coming from him—only a little loving hum.
His delicate self always made your heart flutter. He was a deadly man when it came to his work, but when it comes to you, he was your teddy bear. A fluffy one that learns how to love and show love every day; he maybe even asks Reggie how to do so sometimes.
No matter how much you made him question himself, he loved you at the end of every day, and his big stature was always a comfort you found in an ache for love or on a cold night.
Ronnie moved his feet, searching for your warm legs as he looked up at you. His eyes scanned your tired face as you smiled at him. You kissed his lips, and he kissed you back eagerly, loving your morning: "What do you want for breakfast, Ronnie?" Your voice is a bit hoarse from waking up minutes ago. He thought for a second before saying, "You." Huffing a laugh, you kiss his cheek.
"How about I make us some tea, and we go eat at Big Charles?" You whisper, then kiss his cheek, He nods, blinking away his sleeplessness. You shift in the bed trying to get out of his arm lock; he groaned not wanting to let you go, but you made it out, putting on his red sweater and your shorts, then hurrying out of the RV, so he couldn't drag you back into bed.
Making the tea quickly, you hurried inside, finding him in the same spot on the bed, now starting to sit up. He takes the tea from you and takes a sip. He hums in satisfaction at the taste. You move to grab his pills, and taking one out, you hand it to him. He looks at you with puppy eyes, but you don't melt under them as you did when you first started dating. You saw how he was off of them; it was for both of you and the whole of London.
He takes it a bit upset, swallows it, and you make him open his mouth, showing under his tongue. Once he had tricked you earlier on, but through your tears and cuddles with a bit of talking, he was more willing to take them for you. It was hard for him to be on them; he was still Ronnie, just a bit out of his mind, lucid at times, and scarily calm.
You kiss him on the lips and then sip on yours while sitting next to him, resting your head on his shoulder. You look at the ground; it is littered with your clothes, though nothing had happened last night. All you wanted was his warm, soft skin cuddling next to you. You both loved coming out here; it was just you two—no gang business, no loud clubs, no coming home late—only Ronnie being his fluffy sensitive self with you.

It breaks my heart when I see people use this image in their “I want old fashioned love and standards back” posts like obviously none of you have seen the movie. I love it but it’s super tragic and definitely not a romance worth glorifying. Frances was only 23💔 and Reggie carried those tickets with him until he died.
