Something that's weird to me is that Ron never actually told Harry about his love for Hermione. Sure, Harry knew it was happening but why didn't we have a wholehearted conversation between them discussing this issue? Maybe after Harry and Ginny got together, he could've talked to Ron about this and meanwhile maybe Ron could've brought up his own feelings and opened up about secretly liking Hermione. I think by that point it wouldn't have been a surprise for the audience so I just don't see why not. Doesn't Ron trust Harry enough to tell him?
