the kiddos!
Fleur: [to Bill] New Year's resolutions? Me? Just what are you implying?! As far as you're concerned, I'm perfect the way I am.
There's nothing misogynistic about the portrayal of Fleur in the books. It's actually remarkably realistic and echoes almost disturbingly accurately how certain readers treat Bellatrix, down to the denial of her talent, intelligence, beauty, power, emotional depth, and the implication that she's unworthy of Voldemort.
From Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Lies. Sirius was described in ghastly terms after Azkaban and Bella still retained her beauty, even inside Azkaban.

What's misogynistic is such attitude against women you know deep down to be better than you and your self-inserts, but I suppose certain people don't like to see their own internalised misogyny reflected back at them.
What if JKR didn’t leave Greyback’s fate hanging? What if Bill and Fleur killed Greyback together in the Battle of Hogwarts? What if Greyback recognized Bill and wanted to finish what he started? What if Fleur was ready and willing to protect her husband? What if Fleur used some hitherto-unseen Veela magic to overpower Greyback? What if Fleur cast a spell in French that Greyback could not understand? What if it was a double whammy (similar to Molly’s spells on Bellatrix in the movies) where Bill paralyzed Greyback and then Fleur fired the killing blow that blasted the savage werewolf into smithereens? What if Fleur finally got her big magical moment after being constantly humiliated and deprived of her dignity in the Triwizard Tournament? What if the couple to whose wedding an entire chapter was devoted received their narrative payoff by working together as a badass power couple to give the much-needed comeuppance to one of the most wretched villains in the series, with whom they already had personal history?
art block = shitty sketches that i wont disclose how long took me to do
Fleur Delacour Drabble
Fleur “he’s a kid you’re not letting him in the tournament” when she found out Harry was to join them Delacour, because she would never let her baby sister join
Fleur Delacour who was more than a beautiful face but an excellent witch too, top of Beauxbatons.
she turned a blind eye to the fact that Harry Potter was getting help
Fleur who was lying next to Viktor Krum at the infirmary after Cedric’s death, they both didn’t speak that much at first, because the guy they both thought were the embodiment of sunshine was just gone
Fleur was first one to speak, and they chatted that all night, about everything and nothing. They both avoided talking about Cedric, because they both knew it could’ve been them instead.
Shared survivor’s guilt
after their graduation, they kept in touch
She would attend Viktor’s games and they would sometimes hit the bars after, or she would sometimes just apparate in his house just to hang out, Viktor loved her company.
Viktor didn’t need to talk much, he appreciated Fleur always had so many things to say
viktor “if that Weasley boy breaks your heart I will break his bones” krum
Fleur could’ve picked anyone, she could’ve picked the most extravagant life style easily, but the moment she met Bill she was head over heels, for this man who saw her as a young brilliant witch she is and not a pretty face.
her experience of dating Bill was way too different than anything she had. He didn’t just stare at her, but actually heard her out.
That’s why she didn’t mind going against everyone in the Weasley family if it was needed, let alone Molly Weasley
It broke her heart when Molly kept inviting Tonks over to change Bill’s mind, but more than anything made her furious
Because she knew Bill loved her, so why would he choose someone else? There was no competition in her eyes, just blatant disrespect.
They had an empty seat at the wedding for Cedric, perhaps they could’ve been friends if he wasn’t gone, she always thought.
Bill refused to let the wedding day be completely ruined, so he and Fleur had a private ceremony between them, just the two of them
Sometimes you get thinking about Tedoire and the family tree and it just hits you the Teddy's father is closer in age to Victoire's grandparents than to his own wife, who is younger than Victoire's father.
Like ... Teddy's mother was best friends with Victoire's uncle, and Teddy's father is only a couple years younger than Victoire's grandparents. Teddy's father is closer in age to Apolline and Monsieur Delacour than to Nymphadora Tonks. Like, sometimes you're doing something and that really just smacks you in the face. He went to school with his wife's parents too. Meanwhile Severus Snape was already a Professor by the time Tonks joined the student body. Tonks is younger than Bill and Remus is only eight or so years younger than Bill's parents. He went to school with Bill's uncles. And then, once you get to thinking about it, you realise Fleur is freshly eighteen when Bill, a man in his late twenties, starts dating her.
It's not necessarily icky, they met as adults, but it just really hits you sometimes that Tedoire have a family tree full of age gaps and then they're barely a year apart.
oh no nothing just sirius and fleur gossiping in french about their respective werewolves 🫶
