i read them while in school and it took me 9 months. my opinion is that it would take longer than a month because they're 6000 pages total but that would depend on free time. if that helps

Yeah, that “less than 2 months” was a really rough estimate. It all depends on whether you’re a fast reader or a slow one and how much time a day you spend reading. Also, it takes time to get the hang of GRRM’s language (especially if, like me, you’re not a native English speaker) and of all the places and characters (but that should be easier if you’ve watched the show). But once you get the hang of it, your reading speed will increase.
