So Tumblr has been deleting my uploads. I'll try to post this again but if it doesn't make it maybe I will try a separate blog... I had some good poems going on that got lost too

Drawing always calms me down 😋

What?

Life? A chance.

Time? The past.

Love? An experience.

Fear? What you desire the deepest.

And that's what my reflection stands,

A constant reminder of what I could be but I can't.

Promises that I had broken to the child I was.

Comforting myself in this adult life.

Assuring to my present that better is a lie.

That what I got now it's more than what I should have.

But no.

That's another lie.

I miss the memories of the past.

Where drawing and teaching were possible careers in my parents plans.

In which one could choose independently of the price tag.

And now I found I.

Wondering if what was still can.

So tell me reflection, if you can.

Can we become what we once wished to behalf?

Or do we simply can't ?
