Great, you took him with you after deluding yourself into believing you couldn't just leave him there so that's that. He was certain he'd find a way to sneak off, but later realized he had caught feelings.

"I was sure he was here a while ago! Lord Odin won't be pleased about this..."
A few servants came, tasked to look for none other than Loki. He was far from interested though. how many times do they have to hold meetings for? Can't they just make a group chat or something? That would be less of a hassle, they just have to make it fancy. Sneaking off from an important meeting and possibly a few duties to take care off, Loki was more interested in having some fun. What better way than to explore a bit? Maybe eavesdropping for some gossip from other deities about the most recent affairs and cheating scandals happening, ooor maybe stalking Brunhilde for a bit. Both sound evenly tempting.
He hadn't visited Brunhilde in a while, so why not?
After looking around to make sure the previous servants had left, he made his way to where he'd usually find her, in the garden, reminiscing about the time she played around with the other Valkyries. All the while oblivious (maybe) to Loki who had been watching her. Oh, Göll was there too. Yes, she noticed Loki there, but couldn't really bring it up because of his intense stare. During his time eavesdropping on Brunhilde, he had heard her talk about things she found interest in. One of which were some plants that could be found in the human realm. But, since she was a Valkyrie, she'd need a good reason and special approval to visit earth. (I didn't research about this, srry)
Loki didn't waste a second to run off with his newfound knowledge. Boy was he ecstatic! Imagine Brunhilde's expression when he brings her these delicacies just for her! That's what he thought atleast, so off he went. It wasn't his first time visiting the human realm, so that shouldn't really be a problem for him. That meeting he was supposed to attend? Screw that! He has more important matters to tend to.

Loki was now down on earth scouting. Did he inform anyone? Nah.
He had taken many forms from birds to humans, hoping to find some info about the specific plant he was looking for. And after a bit of searching, he found them! But, they were from a little garden. He transformed back into his original form, staring at the plants and making sure they were the exact ones, until—
"What was that?" The second that phrase was said, he immediately transformed back into a bunny, a last minute decision when he heard the door open. Stepping out of the door and into the garden was a woman, wearing a worn out big jumper paired with a shirt that had some outdated meme. Did that matter? No. His mission was to bring back the plants to Brunhilde. That was the plan, yes, but he kind of gotten himself into something. "Aww, a bunny!" Before he got the chance to hop away as a ball of fluff, you raced him and took hold of him.
Great.
"So cute...let's give you a bath?" You walked further and further away from his jackpot, holding him and preparing a warm bath while he kept eyeing the door to the garden. His plans were quickly interrupted when you soaked him into the bath, gently washing him up with some soap and rinsing it off with some water. Okay, he appreciates that a bit, but he still had something to do— oh, okay you're feeding him now after drying him up. Maybe once that's done, you'll release him? Still no. You were petting him and playing with his ears. It didn't seem like you were showing signs of releasing him. But he did scout a good while for those plants and you seemed to be the one who had them. Maybe you also had other plants that Brunhilde liked, yeah! Now he had a new plan.
Try to find more of the plants in your garden that Brunhilde liked, and when you don't notice, he'll sneak off and bring them to her. You might be wondering, why not just have servants get them instead? No, he wanted to prove himself. He wanted to bring the gift to her and brag about what he had to do to get it, and have her swoon over him.
That's his new plan.

What he didn't expect from you was when you insisted on going everywhere with him, your sweet bunny. Dressing him up in bows, frilly dresses, a tie, a hat, it was weird. But, he can't really lie to himself and say he didn't enjoy it, because he eventually started warming up to you. It started with petting him, cuddling him, talking to him, and being very affectionate. He really didn't understand how he felt about you. Not only that, but he still hasn't showed up in the divine realm where multiple servants were looking for him.
Now, he was cuddling with you on the plush bed, while you stared at him. There was something about your gaze, it was so full of love.
He was always looked up to, feared even. But one of the reasons he caught feelings for Brunhilde was because she treated him differently. But now, she's cold to him and barely even looks at him. It broke his heart when he realized his attempts at trying to get her to like him again were failing
And then, you came. You stared at him with so much care, so much affection, something he didn't know he'd been craving. Just from your actions towards him, the way you treated him, it made his heart flutter in a way it never did before. And for a moment, he didn't think of Brunhilde, he didn't think of his duties and responsibilities. There was just you, your name engraved into his thoughts. And that's when he realized,

But there was a part of him. A part of him that was afraid of getting rejected and having his heart broken once again. And the other part of him couldn't help but fantasize what would happen if you did end up returning his feelings. Not only that, he also knew he couldn't just stay as a bunny. He'd have to reveal his true form somehow, and it made him a bit nervous thinking about your reaction. He had learned a lot after Brunhilde.
He DID end up revealing himself to you, unintentionally.

It was a rainy night, and you had fallen asleep after tending to your chores and your garden. Loki made sure you were fast asleep before turning back into his god form, staring down at you. He wasn't tired, and he took a liking to watching you instead. He gently caressed your head, letting his mind wander. His curiousity got the best of him, and he decided to whisper a sweet "I love you" in your ear, his thumb brushing over your lip and tracing it. This simple act resulted in you waking up, catching him. He was about to transform back, but you stopped him, holding his hand in place.
The look on your face already explained a lot for him, and he knew you were probably going to want him to leave after lying to you.
"Is that you, bunny?"
Those words, uttered so softly to him. Like a cloud for him to lay on and float in, gentle and comforting. He quickly snapped out of it, a very frantic look on his face.
"I-no...well, yes. But please listen to me! I didn't know how to tell you...! I swear it just happened—" His frantic words were spilling out, but you stopped him from explaining himself further. Your finger hovering over his lips while he was still panicking.
"Who are you exactly?" That tone held no hatred, no disappointment. It was still the same tone you used towards him when he was in his animal form, and it helped calm him down a little. He knew he couldn't lie to you, what he did was outright abnormal after all. So he let out a big sigh.

After explaining to you everything, he expected you to be done with him. He prepared himself for you to get mad, but instead, he felt your hands cup his face. When I tell you this caught him SO off gaurd he didn't even notice the blush appearing on his cheeks.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier? That's actually insane." You smiled at him, kneading his cheeks like dough. "You're not mad?" You shook your head no. "Should I be?" He didn't respond, and his dumbfounded expression made you giggle. "Loki..." When he heard you say his name for the very first time, it just felt so right. It was like you were testing his name on your tongue, he felt like he was on cloud nine. His expressions were so cute, you really took a liking to him. So you leaned in, and pressed your lips against his cheek while he froze, eyes widening.
"I like your name very much. And you said you're a Norse god? This feels like a dream, I'm honored."
Despite knowing who he was, you still embraced him with warmth. Bringing your hand to his head and caressing him slowly, his face only flushing a brighter red. "Why did you decide to stay? I'm only a human. There's nothing special about me."
"You're wrong!" He was quick to talk back when you doubted yourself, because it wasn't true. You were so much more than just 'special', you were who he had been yearning for all along. How could you say that about yourself? "You're so much more than that, I know it." His gaze drifted downwards, obviously hurt by your own words. It was surprising to think that someone like him cared so much about you, it was cute. His reactions really brought a smile to your face, and so, you brought yourself closer to him.

You swore you could see smoke coming from his ears, while he stared at you like you just did something no other had ever done before. The silence was quite awkward, not that you really cared. Time had passed, and you were brought to the divine realm. Tidying up your bed and staring out the window, you smile to yourself. You stare at the sky, seeing birds and different bird like creatures flying around and doing tasks. But that wasn't the reason you found comfort there.
The door opened, and you looked over your shoulder, already knowing who it was. Loki.
"Love, guess what I bought for you!"
You both finally sealed your relationship together, and he made it well known that the two of you were tightly together. Who would've thought?
