Sypnosis: Y/N bakes whenever they are stressed or sad so how would these characters react to finding her in the kitchen at 3 am surrounded by all the baked goods she baked?

S/O was sleeping soundly in their bed with you by their side/in the room next to theirs, or so they thought. When they turn over in the bed to reach out for you, you’re not there next to them like you should be/ they hear a noise coming from the kitchen. This quickly wakes them up, confused and worried as to why you weren’t in bed/ the noises coming from the kitchen. They get up to go look for you/ check out the noise in the kitchen only to see you surrounded by a bunch of baked goods as you sat down in front of the oven.
He was confused to say the least and slightly irritated
He walks up to you and picks you up, slinging you over his shoulder
“Hey what are you doing? The cookies aren’t done yet!”
He doesn’t care. He drags you back to bed because it’s to damn early for you to be baking and it’s to damn early for him to be dealing with your bullshit
Obviously asks if your okay though since he knows you only do this when your sad or stressed
If you say no then he won’t pry but if you do say yes then you have 2 outcomes
2. He ends up falling asleep while you rant
Bro woke up cuz of the noises coming from the kitchen
He knew it was late at night so there was no reason for anyone to be in there
He thought his 2 boys had gotten a midnight snack again but he walked in to see you with a bunch of different kinds of goods scattered around the kitchen
“Sweetheart? What are you doing awake?”
“Oh hi Dadam, sorry I didn’t mean to wake you up”
He walks over and looks around, looking at all the new and different goods you made
This wasn’t just cookies but other things he’s never actually tried nor heard of before
“Sorry for the mess I promise I’ll clean it up”
He knows something is wrong with his favorite daughter
He’s a father, he knows these things
You looked at him slightly shocked but quickly look away, trying to hide your sad expression
“It’s…It’s nothing, don’t worry about it”
He only sighs, he wants to know what’s wrong but at the same time he doesn’t want to pry so he leaves it at that as he begins to clean up
You end up helping him even though he continues insisting you don’t need to
He walks you back to your room and tucks you in again, pressing a kiss on your forehead
Don’t think just because he dropped it tonight he dropped it completely, he will ask you again in the morning
The next morning there are a bunch of goodies waiting for the Apple family
Tbh idek how you got this old man to wake up. Old guys need their beauty sleep too guys
He woke up when he couldn’t feel your presence next to him in bed
He assumed you had just gone to the bathroom and thought nothing of it, waiting for you to come back so you two can go back to sleep
After a few more minutes and you haven’t come back, he decided to get up and look for you
He noticed the lights in the kitchen and went to go check what was going on
As soon as he walked in, he was hit with the strong smell of baked goods and the sight of a bunch of different things in containers
You froze right as you were about to put another batch of brownies in the oven
“Kyojiro? What are you doing awake?”
He’s slightly surprised to say the least since he didn’t know you could bake this much unless you worked in a bakery
He asks if you are okay and why you are baking so late at night
If you tell him your fine, he won’t believe you and will continue to pry until you tell him
If you do tell him what’s wrong, he’s willing to lend an ear as he helps you clean up
He’s a very good listener and since he’s practically ancient, he’ll hit you up with that good old people wisdom
He’s always happy to listen to you rant about your feeling or just anything in general
Yall have snacks for like days though which he doesn’t mind since he loved your baking
Lmao another old man who needs his beauty sleep
Kinda similar to Kyojiro, he thought you were in the bathroom but after a few more minutes and you didn’t show up, he went to check on you to make sure you were okay
He heard quiet music coming from the kitchen while the lights were on and the sweet smell of brownies hit his nose
He walked in to see you sitting down on one of the dinner chairs, waiting for what he guessed were brownies to be done in the oven
He’s quite surprised to see you awake, especially baking at this hour
You look up at him with a small smile, not surprised to see him
“Hi Jack, did my music wake you up? I’m sorry I promise I’ll turn it down”
After he assures you that it wasn’t the music that woke him up and that he woke up on his own, he’ll start making tea for the both of you
He asks what your doing awake while making the tea
You both kinda stay up talking while the brownies are finishing up so you guys can both go bake to sleep
He asks you what’s wrong since he can clearly tell by your color
Don’t even try to lie to him, he can literally see your emotions so there is no point in doing so
You simply give in and tell him
Again like Kojiro, he’s always happy to lend an ear as he listens to you while sipping his tea like the gentleman he is
He helps you clean up afterwards and you both go back to sleep
Now he has a bunch of goods he can eat at tea parties with Heracles and Hlökk
Bro woke up the moment he smelt the goods tbh since he’s a REALLY heavy sleeper
He immediately made his way to the kitchen only to see the kitchen covered in so many of your delicious sweets
“Damn babe, did ya make all these sweets treats for me?”
He laughed as he walked in and looked at all the options
You were surprised to see him awake since he was a pretty heavy sleeper
He only laughed as he shook his head, beginning to rummage through and eating whatever he could
As he’s eating though, he notices how…down you look so obviously that raises some alarms
“Hey uh you alright sweets?”
He looks at you with a raised eyebrow as he continues munching
If you say your fine, he doesn’t believe you and will try everything in his power to make you open up and tell him what’s wrong
If he manages to NOT make you break then rest assured he will find a way to know
In the meantime though he still tries to help you finish baking and cleaning up (while eating of course)
He carries you back to bed and lays you on his chest, you don’t even need a blanket due to how warm he is
He was confused as to why you weren’t in bed with him since it was rather late and quickly began growing slightly worried
He put on a robe and quickly began looking for you around the castle
Thankfully the guards had told him exactly where you were as he quickly began making his way to the kitchen only
Once he got there he noticed the large amounts of sweets and baked goods around the kitchen
And you putting in what looked like another batch of cookies
You looked back at him, surprised to see he was awake
“Q-Qin! My king what are you doing awake?”
“I should be asking you that sweetheart”
Like Adam, he already KNOWS something is wrong
I mean your the love of his life, of course he’d know when something is off with you
He quickly walks over and hold you close as he wraps his arms around you
“My queen…please talk to me…”
Even though he wants to know so badly what’s wrong, he will always be patient when it comes to you
He’ll wait until your ready to talk to him about it
He’ll kiss your forehead reassuringly and all that cute stuff
He calls in one of the servants to finish up the batch of cookies you put in the oven and to put everything else away as he carries you bridal style back to your shared bedroom
Tucks you both into bed while he rubs your back and places small kisses around your face as you both fall asleep
It is a miracle that this man was even ASLEEP in the first place
Like bro barely sleeps since he’s always so busy with his inventions and sciency stuff
Anyways when he noticed you were not in bed, he was slightly worried since out of the two of you, you had the better sleeping schedule
He quickly got up and went to look for you
When he saw that the kitchen light was on and the air smelt sweet, he already knew it was you and quickly made his way to the kitchen
He walked in and saw the kitchen filled with containers of sweets and with you putting the rolled up cookie dough on the pan
“Meine Liebe what are you doing up?”
Once you heard his voice, you instantly feel bad since this was going to be one of those rare moments where he ACTUALLY got some damn sleep
“Sweetheart what are you doing awake? Go back to sleep, it’s really late”
He is NOT amused by you trying to spin this on him
He already definitely knows something’s up with you
He’s a scientist, he’s always attentive so ofc he’s gonna notice when something is wrong with you
You both just stayed up even though you kept repeatedly telling him to go back to sleep but he refused
He just wanted to make sure you didn’t hurt yourself while baking
And he wasn’t tired anymore—
Overall you both just kinda stayed up baking as he listened to you rant (if you wanted to)
He helps with distracting you by talking about his theories and stuff if you don’t wanna talk about it though
That’s a wrap up for that one! Sorry if it looks a little sloppy, I started this months ago and didn’t finish it until today. That’s also probably why the last three feel more sloppy than the other so I apologize if they are. I might update them once I finally get annoyed by the way it’s typed.
