So basically Hope being the lovely mother she is doesn't want her baby to be alone so she tries to set him up on terrible blind dates. After a while Remus just blurts out that he's dating Sirius to get her off his back.

Cue months later, Hope is getting remarried and invites both Remus and Sirius to the wedding, and while Remus could tell his mother the truth about the nature of his relationship with Sirius (pining from his side), he's afraid of his mother setting him up at her own wedding and him having to endure a horrible date for an entire weekend, so he asks Sirius to go along with it for the wedding weekend.

Sirius agrees immediately and off they go to celebrate a wedding weekend together as fake boyfriends though they are constantly in romantic setting and love is everywhere! ;)

NOT ONLY DID THIS AMOUNT OF POPULARITY NEVER HAPPENED TO A LESBIAN SHOW. HR IS ABOUT THE NOTORIOUSLY HOMOPHOBIC NHL. INSTEAD OF BEING ABOUT THE WONDERFULLY *ACTUALLY QUEER* PWHL!!! WITH BETTER HOCKEY!! BETTER HOCKEY PLAYERS!! BETTER STORIES!! WAY MORE ACCESSIBLE AND SO UNDERREPRESENTED!!!! it grinds my gearssss to see so many people b like “getting into (male) hockey bc of HR!” like blease nhl does NOT need any more fans nor will it welcome u cause it’s a toxic ass league. PWHL ON THE OTHER HAND. DESERVES UR SUPPORT. ALFBSJJA!!!!!

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels like this!! I’m even really a sporty person but I think the sports gays need more rep for sure AND we need to support female sports!! Plus as someone who grew up in Ontario, Canada where so many young boys dream of being in the NHL like.. first of all, lots of ‘hockey boys’ are very arrogant bc they want to be hockey superstars obviously (guy I went to high school with is in the nhl now actually) and also nhl like a lot of sports organizations is kind of sketchy but ANYWAYS Canadian hockey culture aside, I’m glad people loved heated rivalry but I wish we had the same energy for sapphic shows (hint: it’s the misogyny)
