Logan makes a face. "You people just love to ask the most depressing shit, don't you?"
He has to think for a moment. As he does, his eyes drift over to where Derek and Rosa are having lunch, smiling and chatting casually. He looks away, mouth pressed in a tight line.
"I...guess so. A little. Usually when I'm, you know, alone. But sometimes when I'm around others, it feels like I'm just an observer. Like I'm watching them be totally normal and happy with each other and I'm just...there. Unable to do that, for some reason."
"It doesn't feel like that if it's just me and someone else," he clarifies, looking at his friends again. He gives an affectionate eye roll when Rosa notices and waves cheekily. "Especially if it's Rosa or Derek. Rosa is really good at understanding others and Derek..."
It's hard to tell with his burn scars, but you think there's a bit of blush on his cheeks when he says, "Derek gets me. It would be impossible to feel lonely with him around."
