4. what sections of a bookstore do you browse?
i look all over but the one most likely to get my attention is the general adult fiction section, especially if there's a "new books" subsection because it's going to contain titles i've heard a lot about. oh and if there’s a manga section i definitely check that one out too
6. what books have you read in the last month?
😬 i've been really bad at reading... but... i finally finished she who became the sun by shelley parker-chan and got halfway through an ursula k leguin short story collection. i also read and enjoyed a bit of a cozy thriller that was sitting on my cousin's coffee table because it was thanksgiving and i was bored (a peculiar combination by ashley weaver)

17. top 5 children’s books?
fuck yes i love middle grade!!! in no particular order: the wee free men by terry pratchett (really the entire tiffany aching series), the entire animorphs series, tanglewreck by jeanette winterson, a tale dark and grimm by adam gidwitz, and writing magic by gail carson levine (nonfiction, but it taught baby me so much about writing)
