the thing about rorschach, is that hes like. very not a real person. alan moore might think that, but. hes not. and its because of the general clarity of purpose and shit! real life people that are. like that (extreme, constantly angry, believe themselves to be moral arbiters, imature white guys with problems) dont have the sorts of calculated coldness to them that rorschach kind of has. and like, obviously hes not a good person, but theres a goodness somewhere in him, a drive to be a hero, an emotional honesty, that, to be uncharitable, is the least realistic thing about him. because real guys that are like that, arent sharp clear people. they are violent fucking messes. and you cant really do both, like alan moore seems to be trying to.
