Today, my father, (ret) FF ROY E. SMITH, along with 31 other first responders within the FDNY had their names added to the 9/11 wall memorial at the FDNY HEAD QUARTERS in BROOKLYN at the METRO TECH BUILDING. They held a ROSE CEREMONY. My mother placed a rose where his name will remain and be remembered, respected and honored for many, MANY, years to come! My father passed away this April 2nd from 4th stage lung cancer which was caused directly from 9/11 #MyDadMyHeroFDNY9037
