They were sniffling, coughing sporadically as they made their way back to the Superior after their mission. They didn’t notice their steps weren’t entirely straight until they realized they weren’t in front of the door. They frowned and pushed it open. “Superior?” they asked quietly. “I’m sorry I’m late...”

Tracing Their Scars || accepting

The Freeshooter tenses under his Superior’s touch, teeth clenched and golden eye narrowing in weak protest as the other brushes against his most prominent scar. The gloved hand moves slowly downwards, tracing that jagged line downwards from the corner of his burning eye before looping under to the tender space underneath his jaw. He rolls his head back, letting his chin be tilted gently up by the other’s controlling hand. 

A crooked grin spreads across the sniper’s scarred profile as he let’s himself be drawn in, his face now only inches away from the other’s tanned visage…

“Can you give me a ride?” His car broke down, his Uber flaked out on him, and he's just heckin lucky he's only like a block away from the scientist's house. (figured it might as well be AU!)

Vexen’s shoulders sunk, letting out a grunt of frustration as the request came his way. If he had his way, he would be able to say no and that be the end of it. After days in the lab he couldn’t wait to be on his own - but he knew it would be unreasonable to say no. Damn, he could even drop him off at his own house and it would’ve been a short walk for Xemnas.

“...Fine,” he muttered. After all the young man technically was his boss.

"...Superior?" That's certainly not a face he expected to see again. Then again shouldn't be surprised, it wasn't like the blond was...unaware that the older Nobody was still around.

Sleepless nights became more and more common as Xion found it difficult to avoid thinking about everything. About her existence. How she held memories that weren’t her own. That her power drained Roxas’s. Things like longing to just have peace and enjoy being with her friends-- no, her best friends. And Sora. A lot about Sora, who he was, what he was like... there were many things about him she could piece together from his memories, but for the most part, she could only guess.

After tossing and turning for who knows how long, she decided that perhaps a quick walk around the castle a bit wouldn’t hurt. As long as she kept quiet and didn’t disturb anyone. Maybe the walk would help clear her mind. When she found herself in the Grey Area, however, she didn’t expect to see Xemnas there. Much less, any of the Organization members at all, but seeing the Superior was an even greater surprise. She couldn’t decide whether she should say something or not, and instead, she followed his gaze to what he was staring at -- Kingdom Hearts.

Doctor Angela Ziegler was first on scene. A call for some type of A T T A C K in the city, but none of it seemed to make sense in the reports. Something about monsters. Something about teleportation. The specifics really were not her concern, however. There was injured men out there, and they needed a doctor. 

Her nurses followed suit, tending to those within sight. Angela took to looking in the more hidden places, worried about the victims still hiding from the attack. What she found was a man in the shadows, with golden eyes. 

“Terra, how did - -” The doctor stopped herself upon realizing that this was not the boy she knew.  She hesitated, feeling almost embarrassed. This man truly resembled Terra, but now that she had a closer look, it was easy to spot the differences.  “I apologize. You look like someone I know- where does it hurt? I have my team just down the street. We can take care of you.”
