My own garden is definitely the most triste it can be right now! We had two substantial frosts within a few days here in Austin and almost everything that had been a nice green color is now a sad, depressive brown. My roses had still so many buds, all frozen off. I know it is the course of nature and it needs to happen but it still makes me feel a little melancholic. Especially since we don’t have a beautiful, pristine, white blanket of snow like many of you that covers everything up and makes the winter pretty and more bearable. So I thought I would post a rose against the winter blues! I am pretty sure that this one is a rugosa rose, most likely ‘Terese Bugnet’, that you don’t see that often here on Instagram. Maybe her sight cheers you up as it does me. Just in case you need to be a little uplifted on this winter Monday morning as well! #organicgardendreams #rose #roses #flowerphotography #flower #flowers #bloom #blooms #rugosa #rugosarose #rosesofinstagram #instaroses #roselover #roselove #roselovers #beatthewinterblues #roseconnoisseur #fortheloveofroses #gardening #rosegardening #pinkrose #pink #ceriserose #roseflower #roseflowers #roseoftheday #instaroses #instarose #rosephotography #rosephoto (at Austin, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYjVMZnLvv7/?utm_medium=tumblr
