Though maybe not on Kadara, but here on Voeld it's about 4:00 AM, or the equivalent, I guess. Space time is weird. I just get so tired sometimes. It's the most mundane complaint, but when I say tired, I mean tired. Deep in my bones, my mind, my lungs, my damn soul, if you buy that kind of thing. One completed mission is replaced by three more, like a fucking Hydra of bullshit busy work. Then there's all the dying. Look, I don't have a problem taking that shot when I need to, but ever since we got here it’s been death, death, and more death. Some of the shit I’ve come across... I hope I never get used to it.

I just, I want to get this over with. I want to kick the Archon's ass into dark space and then

Depends on who you ask! I named her after the Rosetta Stone, but when I found out about the probe, I figured that was probably the more likely inspiration for Alec and Ellen. 😊

Hearing from you was exactly what I needed after the YEARS I just spent running around on Voeld. (SAM keeps telling me it was only four hours. I think he’s lying.)

It was… difficult, the whole ordeal with the Turian Ark. Apparently there were still 15,000 stasis pods on board, and most of them are intact. I can’t deny that it feels pretty damn good to save all those lives. But still, I think… Rix is holding it together better than I ever could.

But let’s not go there, okay?

We’re just docking at the Nexus and I have to go make nice with some people, but know that I miss you too. I don’t know how soon I can come back to Kadara, so keep writing me. Maybe with some plans for my return?

I know you don’t take compliments well, but I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you how proud of you I am. It was not the perfectly ideal outcome, but 15,000 turians are alive because of you. That is more of a difference than most of us mere mortals make in our entire lifetimes. Like it or not, you’re changing everything, Rosetta.

What are your Ryder's favorite animal, flower, and ice cream topping?

Oh these are so cute!

So her favorite flowers are lilacs, which inspired her hair color. I need to do some more figuring out on what kind of plants the Ryders could’ve had on the Citadel, bc I love the idea that she had a lilac bush growing up (like I did), but it might not be doable, idk.

She definitely loves her pyjak, who she named Dwayne (after Dwayne Johnson bc she’s a giant dork), but her favorite animals from the Milky Way were bears. Because they’re both ferocious and adorable. No other reason.

For ice cream toppings, I think she’s a caramel syrup person. Feels right to me.
