3B Matt Chapman (#26) and SS Willy Adames (#2) have become married. They will proceed to get a divorce after Pride Night is over and not talk about it but continue to go to brunch together every weekend for the next 30 years.
OF Drew Gilbert (#0) changed gender to trans man.
OF Jung Hoo Lee (#51) says through interpreter: "I'm down for anything really, I don't know why everyone is so hung up about it."
DH Casey Schmitt (#10) has become position-curious.
RHP Logan Webb (#62) has been placed on the 15 Day IL with "serious yearning and longing" regarding the trade of former batterymate Patrick Bailey.
I made this spreadsheet so you all can keep up with USC’s roster + portal movement without me having to make a million separate posts. I’ll still post general updates, of course, but if you’re specifically asking about USC’s roster or portal targets, this is where I’ll direct you. The link should be public, and I’ll be updating it about 1–2 times a week (especially early on, since most players already have a good idea of where they’re going once they enter).
Inside the spreadsheet, I’ve projected what the 2026–2027 roster could look like before any official portal commits. It’s sorted by position so it’s easier to see where USC’s needs are (especially if you’re not super deep into basketball like that). I also loosely "ranked" players within each position to give a better idea of depth and impact.
I added color coding to make everything easier to follow:
Green = core pieces
Blue = solid bench pieces
Red = players I think should transfer out (not in an malicious way lol)
Pink = players I’m watching/like as potential portal adds
You’ll also see numbers next to some names, that just shows the different positions they can realistically play. I also may remove players or add new players as the days go on. But I'll give you a little more context on how I’m using this.
When I add a player to that sheet, it’s never random btw 😉.
Remember, I’ll always share if a player is planning to enter the portal, but I won’t publicly say where they’re going until they officially announce either their plans to enter or they're officially entering the portal.
Once a player commits, I’ll update the spreadsheet first and switch them to green so you all know they’re officially part of the core. This should make everything a lot easier to track as things start moving 👀
All I do is win, said the 7-time Liiga champion Oulun Kärpät as they once again took the first place in the regular season. The team was excellent on its penalty kill, holding onto 100% pk for the first nine games of the season. The power play on the other hand was a huge issue for the team throughout the season, even with former NHLer Jussi Jokinen basically running the units alongside their coach Mikko Manner. Or maybe that was the problem...
2020-21 SEASON
Will the power play still suck or is there finally a winning recipe in place? Despite acquiring one of Liiga’s best defenseman, Libor Sulak, the team seems to have lost more strength in the blueline than gained it, due replacing most of the losses with a bunch of Liiga rookies. Jesse Puljujärvi has been on fire in the pre-season so everyone’s expecting him to continue his hot streak into the regular season. Also keep an eye out for Aatu Räty, who’s expected to go #1 overall in the 2021 NHL draft.
