So I'm gonna invest in a proper rotary tool and I'd like to know which bits you use the most for your doll or toy work and bits you've had naf experiences with (melting the plastic if used at too high speed, choking on vinyl...) my highest priority is easy switching between bits without having to change adapters and a protective piece to prevent sparks and flying debris. I use the diamond cutting disks on my cobbled together one extensively both to cut but also to grind using the disk surface as the pink bits i had didn't do much (they may have just been duff) i also use drill bits at low speed or it just gets melty in there. Is there any bit attachment that might fill the role played by magic eraser? I don't want it taking up space in my room so I'd like to avoid big boxes of stuff i just won't be using. I'm also having trouble finding women hobbyists reviews: is it heavy, does it fit into your hand, will i have to get the snake attachment purely because the weight plus my muscle weakness will mean the tremors. Any and all recs, your personal fave bits and brands welcome in reblogs or replies. ❤️💜💙

Like, power tools? Sorry no, I don’t have any experience with them :/

If you mean like … rotary cutters for fabric? … I like those ! But I assume you mean like … wood working stuff, which can’t help ya there sorey but good luck !
