Pokemon Anime Headcanons (again)

-By this point, Ash can see right through most of Team Rocket’s disguises, but goes along with it anyway just to see what happens(and so they don’t get discouraged). He knows full well who the Bewear Doughnut Vendors are, and promotes their business both because of that and because the food is genuinely Just That Good.

-When Ash is stressed, he’ll usually do some training. If training or battling is what’s making him stressed, he’ll go find some kind of work to do. This is to distract himself until he’s emotionally prepared to deal with the problem.

-Ash is only bad at cooking if left completely to his own devices. If he’s helping someone else, or is shown how do cook a dish(just giving him the recipe won’t work, he’s a visual learner) he does just fine. It’s when he experiments that things start going wrong.

-Ash and Pikachu are sparring partners. This started in Sinnoh as a way for Ash to actually do some Aura training(since he’d been putting it off) and for Pikachu to have someone he could go all-out on. They don’t really do it around other people after one of their sessions freaked out Iris and Cilan.

-Sometimes Greninja needs an extra boost to deal with some particularly tough roots, and Ash-being Ash-will gladly provide it no matter what he’s doing at the time. This is a problem if he’s in the middle of Aura training, since sending a significant amount of your life-force halfway across the planet while also charging a Force Palm is a Very Bad Idea.

-Despite realizing a long time ago that she wasn’t worth everything he put himself through, Meowth still isn’t quite over Meowzie.

-Pikachu really doesn’t like talking about his past. Ash, Meowth, Butterfree and Buneary are the only ones who’ve heard the full story.

Rotom is a filthy memer. We all probably already knew that.

other complaints aside, why did Nintendo think it was a good idea to a) give ur pokedex a personality and b) that personality is emotionally needy

I don’t like having to poke my cell phone every 5 min to stave off its depression
