So far my instincts have been spot on with the quitters. The articles tell you to trust your nose: you will smell a rotten egg before it has a chance to explode. Today there were 2: #3 - Mystery. I think it was an Olive Egger #12 - Black Copper Marans It didn't smell like sulphur. It was... indescribable, but sulphur wasn't it. 7 left of 16 from My Pet Chicken. Rotten Eggs, 2017 Si le fait de décrépir est de s’abîmer avec le temps, il en est de même avec des individus névrosés. Rotten Eggs, est un projet visant à briser les moeurs en présentant, un jeune adolescent rongé par un trouble névrotique envahissant. Il est utilisé de manière métaphorique, comme un vecteur émotionnel pour exprimer la sensibilité de ce garçon à résister à cette psychose. A son stade d’embryon, l’oeuf symbolise un état stagnant, mais il se fissure, se craquelle et fragilise l’adolescent, jusqu’à cuire pour se coller à la peau, comme des plaques de psoriasis. Un cube de glace à travers lequel des oeufs aux plats ont été cryogénisés, témoigne de ce moment intimiste où la propagation est devenue envahissante. Une fois que l’oeuf est fissuré, nous pouvons toujours recoller les morceaux mais ils nous est impossible de le réparer complètement, laissant à notre corps quelques cicatrices. Decay is to spoil in time, so it goes for neurotic persons. The Rotten Eggs project aims at breaking habits, by representing a young man which an invading neurotic disorder eats away. The egg is metaphorical : it is a emotional vector which symbolizes the boy’s sensitivity and his will to resist this growing psycho. When an embryo, the egg is at a stagnant state, but then will it crack, and split, and weaken the teenage boy, and once cooked, stick to his skin like blotches of psoriasis. An ice block in which fried eggs were cryogenised is a testimony of this moment if intimacy, when the spreading gets overwhelming. Once the egg is split, one can still fix the pieces together, but never in way that is complete, and some scars are always left on our bodies.
