I mean, the starter version of this is: Go to historical re-enactment events or LARPs or whatever in costume, and then nip out to the corner store or local McDonalds or something while still in costume. The SCA calls it “freaking the mundanes” and for me, it was a huge confidence-booster.

Though it started out rough, today was a good day. Took my pup to the farmer's market where everyone gushed over her, bought some beautiful plants, my strawberries are coming in from last year, and I got to spend time with friends and watch Endgame which was quite a satisfying end to an era imo. I'm really lucky I get to be me some days. :)

I did actually email her first and she told me to call her office to make an appointment with her secretary. I wish I coulda done it over email.

But in response to your reply on this: my understanding of demisexuality is that you ONLY develop sexual attraction if you have a strong emotional bond, and that’s not quite true for me. Physical attraction does tend to develop a lot when I become good friends with someone, but I also can be physically attracted to strangers or acquaintances. I usually don’t act on those urges, but that’s more based on me not wanting to engage in risky behavior as opposed to having no desire to pursue physical intimacy with someone I don’t know well.
