Nicole by OPI Roughles in "On What Grounds?" FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I got my first Ipsy bag a couple of days ago! I was one of the recipients of the full size Nicole by OPI (where to buy) Roughles (pronounced “ruffles”) textured polish. These polishes normally retail for around $7.99. This is a spring collection, and I’m guessing it’s probably limited edition. I received the shade “On What Grounds?”, which is one out of four shades.

I am going to be honest; most of the polishes I own from the Nicole by OPI line are from the Justin Bieber collection and I love them. Especially the glitter polishes bevause they're opaque in one coat, and that's a rare find. I wasn't super excited for this polish because I'm not a fan of textured polish. :/

Formula-wise, this is great. It's opaque in two thin coats or one thicker coat and it's a gorgeous color. It dries pretty fast and I wore it for four days with no chipping or tip-wear, through work, which is crazy good because tasking at Ulta will DESTROY your manicure.

Bottom Line: I don't like textured nail polish, so this is not for me. It took three coats of Seche Vite to make the finish smooth and shiny and that's a lot of work. HOWEVER this color is beautiful; minty teal greenish shade and it's not one flat color like the China Glaze textured polishes and the speckled effect this polish has is fun and gives it a bit of extra dimension. If you like textured polish, this is a good one to try, especially for spring; all four colors are lovely looking.
