What do I say..... (not going too far into the consent thing)
First, wow. Kinda... a letdown? Eh? That sure just plucked out and removed a point of conflict that would have been interesting to expand upon, what with Nozomi going against the cult. It sure makes SENSE why things would happen this way, things have been escalating for some time to the point where people act in Takumi's name without considering his feelings, and that's why things needed to move slowly, it's just.......... everything happened that abruptly....?? Just, killing her!? And the cult members TURNING on the leader??
I don't know. This had much more potential, imo. Though, true, the violations of Takumi's consent in this 'God' shtick sure do lead up to this kind of a moment....... no comment! Cursed. So very very cursed
41 was orders of magnitude better, what with being the 'true path' of this route- in the sense Takumi's corruption really reached an apex with Nozomi's objections suppressed. Yugamu brainwashing Nozomi sure emphasised that, especially when Takumi eventually decided to give her the Reward(tm) to make himself feel better about where that went and soothe his own self-delusions. Yeah, this part was really good, unsettlingly. What a disaster he became.
But I can't help but think that killing off V'exhness was wasting HER potential in this. FOR GODS SAKE- SHE WAS THE BIG BAD, SUBMITTING HERSELF TO TAKUMI. And we're really just going to waste her?? If we're going down this road, we should go all the way, goddamnit. We took Eito back thanks to Takumi's magnetism, why not go all out and take V'exhness along for the ride as well? Takumi's on so much of a power trip that he's going to take over the satellite anyway. They're both dictators in arms. That would've been fun
Eh. I feel like this was building up to more, but I realised it would end soon because of the way the route map was panning out. Oh well. Still there was a lot about this trip that I liked- for a corruption arc, it's really not horrible? Though the way it escalates due to drug effects makes it kind of disjointed and surreal as well. It's... hard to place
