Rowan was surprised when Hank squeaked and jerked away from her, and she pulled her hands back at first, thinking she’d hurt him. But after a few moments... well, she knew why he’d jerked away.

Smirking, she gently placed her hands on Hank’s shoulders, thankful she was behind him so he couldn’t see her. “Are you okay, Hank?”

Hopefully he would forget, at least momentarily, that she could read his mind. It would make it even more entertaining if he did.
