The reason why I usually love the morally grey guy or even the villain is that he'd never give up on you. He'd rip the world apart just to be with you. There is no crime he would not commit so you'd be safe and happy, he'd never put anything else above you. F*** the destiny , f***the kingdom and the world, you are his and he is yours and that's all that really matters. Yes he is cruel, but he is ferocious when it comes to protecting you. Yes he's violent, but you have him wrapped around your little finger and he'd never ever hurt you, he'd do anything to see you smile.

And that is beautiful, that love, that passion always burns so so bright and it feels so much more real than the love story between two morally white characters. That love it's what I want for myself.
