Rowvember Day 1: Revolution!
I realised since I've pre-prepared like... nothing, I was going to have to stick with quick doodles and drabbles for these, so I went for something a little less literal than I originally planned!
So here's Cass working on the calendar for her new planet.
All those jokes I've made in the last month about how much paperwork she has to do finally paying off.
Rowvember Day 16: Distort.
It's a tenous fucking link to the theme, no doubt about it. But I seem to be getting into drawing all of Casey's ships now, so...
I made this joke to @snail-eggs when discussing Xixi and Casey's heights and I knew I had to draw it at some point. Obviously the above would be an unusually sweet/silly moment for them compared with much of their dynamic.
This ship is mostly just a "what if?" scenario and we both had the same sort of vision that it would be a sr2-era toxic thing, probably headed for tragedy but the love is there. My initial description was "They'd just be getting fucked up, driving, crashing, then fucking in a crashed car." and I stand by that. Carrie made a Pinterest board for them and it was exactly what I was envisioning.
I find it difficult to explain them because it's not the kind of ship I'm drawn to for Boss Casey, at the same time I don't want to invalidate that it would happen? Xixi is absolutely the sort of charismatic person a 21yo non-Boss Casey would follow around like a (bratty attack dog of a) puppy. Carrie would be better to explain what the hell Xixi sees in Casey, presumably being followed around by someone who hangs onto her every word?
My favourite scene for them is just confessing their love for each other while being led away seperately in handcuffs. But a Thelma and Louise type death scene is also appealing.
Anyway my brain's not being particularly eloquent today so I'm just going to drop my favourite song for them and run.
Rowvember Day 13: Roof
Not really sure what I was doing with this one but it's kind of cute.
This is around 2012 I think. I almost never draw sr2/3 Casey but hey, this is in between the two 😅
