I’ve seen people talking about him being ticklish in this ep. I think that would have ended in disaster lmao
My personal interpretation of Eclipse x Roxanne is something like this. Eclipse is Aro-Ace, romance repulsed and sex neutral. He doesn’t like being forced into dating or being hit on at all. He’s complaining about this to Roxy when she suggests something. They could say that they were dating, and pretend to go on dates, but instead just still be friends. Roxy isn’t aro-ace, but also isn’t looking to date anybody at the moment, so it’s a good plan! All they have to do is let one of their friends know. Word will spread, people will assume that they’re together, and then no more annoying “when are you going to start dating” questions. Eclipse is still nervous about it; he’s going to have to pretend to be lovey dovey? That’s not him at all. He doesn’t want to have to put on a big show to act like they’re in love. But Roxy assures him that they don’t even have to change the things they do. So, they continue hanging out like normal, but now everyone thinks they’re dating. This doesn’t change their relationship. They’re not friends-to-lovers. They’re friends. Eclipse starts to feel a little more comfortable with being physically affectionate, now that it won’t be questioned by everyone. He might lay his head on Roxy’s shoulder when he’s tired, or let her rub his rays when he’s upset. They still make fun of each other and argue and insult, but it’s more lighthearted than malicious. Roxy knows his routine, and drags him to bed when he’s overworked himself. Eclipse buys her favorite makeup and keeps it in his desk so he has refills when she runs out. It’s nice.

More of why I ship Clips with Roxanne
Last time, I said I ship them because they remind me of my EAPS Laia and Clips, but this is more based on the episodes themselves.
Roxanne knows how to talk to Clips and is not scared to rip him a new one. Clips acts mostly like a kicked puppy if she does. He says something with sarcasm back, but you can hear in his voice that he gets quieter, like he's feeling guilty.
With others, it doesn't mean that he doesn't feel guilty or take it to heart, but he shows it less or responds by emotionally hurting them.
He's more open with Roxanne; he even cried in front of her when he was worried that he would never see his kids again. She saw him when he was at his lowest and hurting.
Roxanne keeps asking what she can do to help; she supports him. If he yells at her or is being mean, she doesn't take it to heart; she knows that he doesn't mean it and is under a lot of stress. He also apologized once!
And I think Clips wants Roxanne to be safe. He reacts with anger if she puts herself in danger. I think if he could, he would keep her in his lab all the time, but he knows he can't do that to her. He built an illusion disc so "they" can leave the plex. But c'mon, they didn't need that until Roxanne showed up, look at Ballora she goes out all the time. She is the one who loves to go out, and Clips chose her as his first test subject, it was made so she can go out.
Also, these two are hanging around a lot. Roxanne can go around the Plex, but we see her very often hanging around Clips. He taught her how to play a game at the theater. And she helps with the kids; she acts like a cool mom to them.
When Charlie was missing her dad, I swear if they could, Roxas would have pulled Clips by the rays to see Charlie, like a mom reprimanding her husband.
