This cheetah fox made another appearance at Camp Whittier’s Adaptation Auction today. Assisting the auctioneer as the campers bid real fake money (no lie it looked like real money but was fake!) on adaptations like growing replacement appendages and break dancing. Then the groups came up with stories of how their animals evolved over time to have these adaptations naming their new creature and drawing what it looked like. They were so creative! Tomorrow I’ll try to post some of their art. It was a pleasure to see the children work together and have fun with the creative process.
