…Cos I’m warning ya Sarah. You try and take my kids away… and I’ll kill ya. (2 of 2)
Jack lets the kids decide whether they see Sarah or not which of course they do. Things are tense between Sarah and the boys (Robert doesn’t hug her 😢) while Victoria wants to live with Sarah. Jack worries he’s made a mistake having Sarah see the kids. Sarah returns and tells Richie she’s hopeful after her visit with the kids. At the farm, Jack is not happy to hear about Sarah’s intentions leading him to threaten Sarah’s life 🤬.
Jack: I can’t help feeling I’ve made a big mistake.
Roy: Mistake?
Jack: I don’t trust her, Roy. You know I thought I was doing the right thing but… I’m not so sure now. I mean… how do I know what she’s filling their heads with? She could be telling them a pack of lies. Nah, I can’t help feeling I’ve made a big mistake.

Part 1
Today is the day I take the first steps towards getting custody of Victoria. (Part 1 of 2)
Sarah decides today is the day to see Jack about the kids. Jack’s feeling humiliated for being so desperate for money and the sale didn’t really help. Diane notices Richie making a deal with Chris to bring in some ‘serious money.’ Sarah sees Jack who doesn’t give away any of his own intentions about keeping the kids away from her.
Richie: Feels like everybody hates me.
Chris: These people are parochial… small minded. They’ve got no imagination… but a handful of brain cells between them. I’m serious. Why should you care what they think about you. Rise above it.
Richie: Don’t think I can.
Chris: You’ll find it gets easier… when you are as rich as I am.

And I’m dreading the legal billing coming in but if that’s what it takes to get custody of me kids...
It’s time for Jack to make some money selling the old doodads on the farm and he does make an indent thanks to Alan’s buying a vintage 1935 motorbike/sidecar (do you need a room Alan?). Sarah’s already thinking about a bigger place to fit the kids with her and Richie and that Victoria could already move in after she comes home. Note the clip is almost 7 minutes!
Sarah: There’s room for Victoria here now. She could move in when they got back from Spain.
Richie: Jack might have a few things to say.
Sarah: A girl at that age should be with her mother, anyone can see that.
Richie: I’m sure he can if we let the dust settle…

Who’s brooding? Look, I can hardly afford a sack of feed never mind a jaunt to Spain.
It takes a village, or at least a couple of them, to convince Jack to go spend time with the kids in Spain. It comes down to Diane’s influence in the end as she lends him the money to fly down while Roy and Mark would look after the farm. Meanwhile, Alan has noticed the closeness between Diane and Jack and no, it’s not jealousy.
Alan: You must be careful that your good nature isn’t misconstrued. He’s… he’s very vulnerable.
Diane: What are you trying to say, Alan?
Alan: I just don’t want you to be compromised.

Why would you be interested in a middle-aged farmer’s wife 😏
