He takes a deep breath, his fingers hovering over the clothes section of his slate.

What could he wear?

Although he doesn't know the meaning, he knows a 'wedding' was a big deal, thanks to the excitement growing higher the closer it gets to the appointed day.

What should he wear?

Most of his stuff has very specific purposes-yes, even the blue tunic that fits him too well but isn't his has a purpose. He shouldn't just wear them to something so important.

He sucked in a breath, closing his eyes. Quietly, he knocked on the glass fog that hid his memories from him.

What should I wear to the wedding, Champion?

His fingers tap the slate without his bidding, and he only opened his eyes once he felt his outfit change.

The cold metal of the Diamond Circlet sat on his forehead. The layered and lavishly decorated Royal Guard uniform and boots cover him.

After he looked himself over, he whispered to himself, smiling.

"Thank you."

Mimicry

Three pairs of aquamarine eyes locked. Only one pair was filled with confusion.

Wild-unscarred, a clean champion’s tunic, master sword, no slate-was slightly behind a nigh-mirror of the Hero himself-hylian hood, slate, clean-but-worn champion’s tunic, scars.

Said nigh-mirror stepped forward,

“I am Rune,“ he tapped his chest, “this is Champion.“ he tapped his companion’s shoulder, “Who are you all?”

Time’s facepalm was only heard by Twilight.

At Rune’s question, the rest of the Links started moving again, slowly surrounding the new Links and Wild.

Time introduced them all.

Wild remained still, even as he was given space and Twilight called to him again and again.

The foreign noise wasn’t heard from most of the group; too occupied with things like how the timeline was faring having three versions of the exact same Incarnation of Courage in the time place.

But Four did. It had come from around Champion.

He walked over to the Hero, only getting a curious tilt of the head.

Champion sat down, and Four now clearly saw the white guardian-like thing Champion had picked up during the hubub.

‘Its name is t-e-r-r-a-k-o.‘ Champion slowly signed.

“Is Terrako safe?“ Four-Vio asked, sitting down next to Champion.

‘yes.’

When night came, Champion and Rune volunteered to keep watch, to the surprise of the group.

“This is Wild’s Hyrule, right?“

“..Yes, but-“

“Me and Champion can keep watch.“

And in the end, Time lost his ground and the two Heroes of Wilds ended with first watch.

He only hoped they would wake Warriors for second watch.

They, did not, in face wake anyone else for second and third watch.

Instead, the little guardian-like egg woke Four, who woke everyone else, and explained Terrako’s existence when Warriors asked.

Champion and Rune were nowhere to be found, and they ended up following Terrako through twenty destroyed monster camps and six broken weapons to find the two.

Champion was dressed in an outfit that looked like a noble’s set, although closer inspection revealed it was far sturdier than it looked and remained immaculately clean through trudging through mud.

Rune was dressed in what he called the Set of The Hero of The Wild, and that was all they needed to know.

Time was about to give them a scolding, but then a portal shoved them all into a different Hyrule, and the Wild Heroes’ s adventure was forgotten in favor of recovering.
